i went on the 5th level on the front and yes, added the shocks to the rear as well. From the center of the front hub to the fender is 24". Did not do new upper control arms. Was told that I only needed to do that if I went over 3" lift.

Let's see those running boards/side steps

I have the Tyger steps as well and really like them. Price is very reasonable and they seem pretty solid.

I went with the bilsteins as well and actually feel like the ride is better. I get less stuttering over broken pavement and it seems to handle better on the highway...

    Dog's not happy - I'm confused.

I'll give her a call later this morning and see about opening a case.... She's a ridgeback/Boxer mix. I've had her for about 7 years and she loved my F150 and my Jeep...this is really strange.

Thanks - unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem.... :(...poor dog is still scared in the truck

What did you do to your Ram today???

Made a carpeted platform for the back seat and am hoping it helps the dog mellow out a bit. She does not like riding in this truck which is crazy. She used to love road trips in the jeep.

No problem. Just finished a platform to see if that helps. Going for a ride now to test

    Dog's not happy - I'm confused.

My dog is also scared when in the Ram. In the grand Cherokee I had previously she loved taking trips. She still jumps up in there when I tell her too, but she's definitely not happy...even starts shaking once we're under way. She's never gone to the vet in this...only to the trailhead or up to...

    She's done

True, but I have to keep telling myself, (and the minister of finance) that she's done to try to control the urge to continue shopping :)

    She's done

So, I got my Ram 1500 Laramie just before the holidays. I'm coming from a slightly modified Jeep Grand Cherokee that I loved. I go up to my property in the foothills a couple of times a month and also tow a small travel trailer. The Jeep was awesome but had a 160k on it so it was time for an...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Ok, probably a dumb question, I apologize in advance......what is the purpose of airbags? I've seen them on HD trucks for towing, but don't know why they are installed on a half ton? Is it for towing or just raising the truck?

What did you do to your Ram today???

Yes, I thought it was a lot as well. 500 for install and alignment seems high, but I got a couple of quotes and that seems to be the rate. Yes, I did front and rear. Here are a couple more shots...if theres something specific you're looking for let me know and I can get a shot..

What did you do to your Ram today???

I like the look a lot better than stock. The ride is good. I drive through some areas where they're working on the freeway and it feels less squirrely when going over rough pavement at hwy speeds. It wasn't cheap at $1k for F/R including an alignment.
