I've had my Laramie for 2.5 years now (65,000miles) and my wipers just started acting up. Had a good bit of snow and when I hit the wipers they went back and forth a couple of times then stopped.
Now it's intermittent, sometimes they work, sometimes they stop in the middle of the windshield. I...
I had a couple of drops recently on mine. Turns out it was actually the filter itself that was leaking. I was due for an oil change anyway and afterwards, no issues.
On Monday, I took the RAM to the dealer for the Sway Bar TSB. There was a noticeable clunk coming from the front end when going over bumps or bumpy roads.
The dealer diagnosed the issue as a loose sway bar (exactly what I told them it was when I handed them the printout of the TSB)
They charged...
We took our trailer this summer up in to the sierras (trailer about 3700lbs) about 300 miles round trip and averaged 10.6 measured
A couple of weeks ago we did another 300 mile round trip to Paso Robles (almost all flat) and average 12.4 measured
I have 295 60 20 ProComp AT tires on stock wheels with a bilstein leveling kit.
I get some rubbing of the wheel well at full reverse, but that's the only time.
I actually didn't hate the look. Although the more I think about it, I think I'll be continuing to look for a hard shell for a couple of reasons....
- Will be locking bikes/stuff inside - a little more secure
- will be sleeping in it when camping by myself - a little warmer and better in bear...
I saw one on the road this weekend and was curious. In talking to the guy at the gas station, he said the benefits are cost, weight and flexibility...
On my F150 I had a hard shell with a bed rug and loved it. I will probably go with a hard shell, but was curious about these....being able to...
yeah, the longer bed gives us a little more room. My main goal was to get as close in size to the rest of the wheels/tires without buying a new rim.
I ended up getting the used tire, which was a take-off from another truck, from the tire place we use at work for 20 bucks.....couldn't say no
The tire from walmart.com never came so I picked up a practically new 275 75 18 which is slightly bigger than the 295 60 20s I have on. It fits snuggly and will work in a pinch. Still need to figure out a longer term solution
Congrats and glad you're enjoying your truck. I'm in the same boat. I love this thing. Had an 05 F150 and then a Jeep Grand Cherokee. This thing is way nicer than either of those and puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. I've had it 11 months now and just hit 22,000 miles.
I've got...
I did the lineX liner and didn't install the rivnuts beforehand. Now I have to try to clean out the holes so I can install the rivnuts. Have not attempted yet, wondering how hard its going to be scraping off the bedliner....
I've got the 295 60 20 on stock rims with a bilstein 2" level.
I get slight rub when backing up at full lock. Seems to be the only time I get it though...
