yes i used a dremel to cut some of the humps down in the plastic to get it to mount flat & clear the tail gate when open its really close about 1/8 clearance. i had to use 5/16 in spacers in the middle & nothing at the ends to get the bar flat
that was the problem kinda the fob was in the house i guess to close & it would unlock when i touched it i thought it would make noise like the drivers door
ok so i need some help i just installed the brackets-spacers for my tail gate light bar i unpluged the tail gate & removed it when i pluged it back in it wont lock or un lock. the camera works & the power release works but no lock i checked the plug to make sure i didnt bend any pins in it all...

i agree when im on the interstate going 75-85 my gmc would get 1 mpg better than when i had the cover off of it.. a open bed with the tale gate up is turbulent

last 2 days i have been buffing bedliner overspray off my white truck & doing 2 coats of ceramic coating. i was to get my borla exhaust on sunday but fedex lost it just says delivery pending & fedex cant find out where it is. ugh lets blame covid
