Frame is different between the 33 and 23-26 gallon..missing the welded in 3rd fuel tank hanger… and no parts kit/numbers available for said 3rd hanger…….there is simply no way that a dealer is going to install a 33 gallon tank.. they would need to weld/fabricate something….. no way in heck they...
I would love to see a kit that would mount additional lights where the front tow hooks go, for those of us that do not have tow hooks…looks to me be reasonable easy to do and woould look factory and cool…..

I will do some more google fu to see if I can find something…. Finding some quality lights should not be an issue, just getting it to look factory and like you said “not cheesy” is going to be the biggest problem.. might have to go buy a couple of those blank covers to experiment with…and yes...
I very much doubt that a dealer will do the install….Ram changed the frames to be fuel tank size specific…the large tank has an extra hanger as part of the frame. some of the early trucks had that spare hanger installed, but my 21 did not….That hanger is not available, has no part number…. So...
I just bought my tank at the local dealer….shipping kills any discount at the online places… bought all the rest of the parts online tho… still saved money that way…..I think I payed list at the dealer, something like $289 plus tax……at the time…

Does anyone know of, or has seen a additional “fog light” to be installed where the tow hooks install? I do not have the hooks, just the covers, and it would seem that would be a perfect place to install some additional lights…
If not, might have to get fancy with a 3D printer or modify the...
So I have a question… would like to cavity wax the doors on my 21 Laramie….. at least the bottom portion of it….. looks like there is a weather strip on the bottom of the door that is fastened with the xmas tree push pins…. Would like to remove this strip, use the push pin holes to access the...
Just installed all the parts listed above on a 21…. Easy install, wiring harnass from Jim made it super easy… activated with AlfaOBD , everything seems to work …… would be nice if we could display truck and trailer tires all in one spot….. but either way, worth the $$
Pete
Well, good news/bad news…. Good news was that my 21 had the tailgate switch already installed, and only needed to activate in AlfaOBD…… works as described…. bad news is that I ordered parts without checking that, and now have and extra switch and harness…….shoot me a PM if anyone needs a set….

My mistake, I was not clear on what I was asking for…. I know what is needed to activate the bedlights , that is indeed listed above, I have done that , and it works great!! but was wondering if anything else needed to be done programming wise for the tailgate/additional tailgate switch...
It be nice if they would come on with the tailgate opening… it would also be nice if there was a puddle light build in the handle like some of the competition has…..I wonder, short of that, if it would be possible to maybe get one of those Enhanced reverse light license place light bars to wire...
