Search the forum.. plenty on the subject. The RL UCA is a beast...
This is just my opinion on the Mopar 2 in kit. I also TOTALLY understand the upside of going with a Mopar upgrade/kit so I'm not saying the many who did made a questionable decision.
That said- I'd personally spend on better...
I have a bad habbit of getting a new Ram almost every year.. I've never seen any noticable wear putting on 12k per year, alot of highway. I always get a spot on alignment and rotate too. Guy I work with racked up 45k on Nitto Terra G2s in 2 years and they wore well..
I know plenty of guys running Nittos for years. Most very happy with ride, milage, and and road noise. Cant say I know anyone who has even bothered with other brands, unless they are on a budget.. then the others come into play. I've never had any issues with mine dating back to 2010ish...
I figure you can't go wrong with RLs beefy UCA. Once Bilstein info is out for the 19s I'll have the rest of the Readylift kit installed. For now, get the UCA and top hat from RL put on, get the wheels and tires on.. I'll send her back to the shop when I have the rest of the goods!
Long story short. I have the 3.5in ReadyLift SST kit. Before I have the whole kit installed I'm waiting for Bilstein 5100s to be out for the 2019s so they can be reinstalled vs. The factory Mopar struts/shocks.
In the meantime I'm going to have the ReadyLift Control arms, and the top hat...
I tried without damaging to pop them out.. stopped before I wrecked something. Then I tried from inside the hood taking 1/2 the truck apart to get behind the grill. Stopped after I decided this was getting insane.
Who can tell me the best way to get them off?? I have the Black Mopar...
Side steps are on their way. Read a few posts about guys saying paint overspray made threading the bolts a pain in the a$$. Can anyone tell me what size diw to buy? Thanks!!
I looked at a number of them, wasn't in love with any. That said Westin HDX Nerf Drop steps for the 19 CC on Amazon for $330 right now.. few left at that price.. Just a heads up!!
Rough County is possibly the worst company out there short of unbranded crap on Ebay. Many have sd it, I'll say it again. You invested at least 40k in your truck- a lift kit is critical to the daily and long term life of your Ram. Do your homework.. I wont tell you what to buy as opinions...
Mopar aftermarket gear is nice.. but the prices are just ridiculous. Not to mention- most are made by the other companies you see with Mopar just sticking a part # on it. That $1300.00 2in lift kit isn't made by Mopar at all.. Fox Shocks and all of the other parts by a big name lift...
Appreciate everyone's feedback. Readylift told me measure from the center of the front wheel to the fender and the same for the back. Add the 3.5 to the front # and 2 to the back and there is your answer. I was just seeking real life results to date.
You are correct. I've leveled a bunch of trucks. The reason I asked here was exactly directed at the same question this post states.
I know all trucks sit a bit differently, more interested in after this Lift is the *** end still noticeably higher?
Go Rhino makes great side steps (they used to call them Raptor style, RB something).. dont think they have much for the 19 out yet.. I'm waiting until they do to buy mine. Had issues in the last with a few brands other than them
