I have a 19 Laramie Diamond Crystal black and live in AZ (Tempe). I can’t help you with the tailgate but would be happy to do a good swap with you if you don’t like the sport hood.

Went with the Bilsteins and set the at the 4th setting (1.3). I now have about 3/4 inch of rake back which I am good with. The truck looked a little squatty when we loaded it up for camping or pulling my tiny little camper. If you want it more level I think you could go 1.7 (5th setting) but...
For anyone asking the same question and stumbling across this thread I just wanted to post a follow up. I went with the 4th setting and removed the preload spacer. I was dead level before and am now at about 3/4 inch of rake. I am actually ok with this since the truck looked a little squatty if...
Old thread I know but my truck is at the shop now getting the Bilsteins installed. Was 4 the general consensus? I have the RL 3.5 now and sits level but wouldn’t mind a bit of rake since it ends up slightly nose high when towing my little camper.

Thanks guys. Pretty much where I was leaning but always nice to have that confirmation. Now to try and source some 5100’s. Everyone says they are on a national backorder.

A couple questions. I have the ReadyLift 3.5 on a 1900 Laramie. My front drivers side strut seems like it went bad. Clunking noise and is leaking.
A. Anyone have this issue with or without the lift? What are the odds that the dealer would warranty it since I have the lift? FYI, a dealer put...
FYI, they replaced a USB Hub which according to the notes was shorting out when overheating. I am not claiming victory yet but the dash read 125 outside (obviously wrong) when I picked it up and it still worked. I’ll give it a bit to see for sure.

My concern is that I can’t use CarPlay when the vehicle is hot. Unfortunately I live in Phoenix so it’s only about 3/4 of the year. I took it in to the dealership a month ago and still no part which may or may not fix the problem. So yeah, I still have some concerns.

Bump on this issue. Called around to a few dealers and they all said they have not seen this issue, which I find hard to believe seeing as we live in Phoenix and I’ve had two 19 Rams with the same problem. Not really wanting my truck to be a guinea pig for some random issue that they have to...
Yes, only CarPlay. It could be something with USB as well to the head unit because there seems to no power to the USB ports when the issue is happening. Other than that all other functions seem to work. Eventually once the vehicle is sufficiently cool it will just turn on. I have tried all USB...
I have one and I do use it when I remember but I don’t think that should be required for the vehicle to operate as intended. It does not always help me unless I also let the vehicle run to cool it down for 10-15 minutes before I remove it.

I was planning on calling the dealer but I wanted to check here to see how widespread this issue is. I have had 2 different 19 Rams and both have had this issue. I don’t want to waste my time with the dealer if there isn’t a known fix. Thanks.
