Well, mine actually pushed in 1/4 " and stayed there if you look underneath there is no flex just cheap shat metal, so they saved a few pounds there. The new ram cast alum running boards are stronger than that bumper and weigh 40 LBS each. Anywho cary on brothers and sisters.
I would say not normal, I pull a boat allot and don't burn oil. My 2003 1500 burns oil like that but it has 190k miles on it. Love when they say could (accepted) burn up to WTF.

Did some serious end of season duck hunting 5 days in a row took the truck off road. I have the 2” mopar lift with stock tires never had to hit the 4 weel drive, but the truck rides like a luxury car off road. Did some long bumpy desert dunes and
the ride is civilized for a crew cab for sure.
They look nice but after a few days of duck hunting my front flaps wre packed with sand and mud! What were they thinking. I will work on a fix (cut biger drain holes).

All shops were close in price the off road specalist shop that was highly recommended was the most. Think Seattle Median house cost 750 ish

Well priced it out at 4 shops one off road specalist 2 local shops that are good and the dealer, dealer was cheapest, dealer shop rates for lift $110 hour mopar has the lift at 4 hours dont know if that includes the alignment and headlamp adjustment.
I am fine with the rake I pull a boat allot...
