    TRX Price

Came to this thread about TRX price discussion and........I see Tesla, Ford, BMW and other discussions. Never seen a thread trainwreck so bad.

    Do you like your MDS?

I hate it. I usually lock out 8th gear so MDS is turned off. Although I've stopped tracking fuel mileage I did track tanks with MDS on vs. off with no real gain. Can't stand how it drives. Getting it removed during my engine rebuild.

    Wide Street Tire

Yes they do! Thank you! Great looking setup!!!! Do you have any specs handy (rim size, offset, backspacing, model number, etc)? Thanks

    Wide Street Tire

That looks sharp. Would you mind taking a pic from the back so I can see what they look like (and how far they stick out or don't stick out from fender)? Thanks!!!

    Wide Street Tire

While many are looking to lift and throw a larger off-road tire on I'm looking for a wide street tire. I currently have the stock 22" rim setup, and while I'm willing to get new rims I'd like to stick with 22" while keeping the same or similar tire height. What are some wide tire setups you've...

    Gme-t6 inline 6 news

Found this interesting video on engines. No real date but it seems FCA is moving away from the v8 in the coming years. Not happy but not surprised. My guess we'll see the new inline 6 in 2021.

Where do you plan to tow?

My bucket list kind of vacation. I wish you great success, be safe and most importantly report back about the trip with pics. :)

First Tow Impression: 5200+# Travel Trailer

Dolly were 2 rear wheels are on the ground turning with the front wheels on the dolly not turning? Doesn't this damage the drivetrain. Aren't those AWD vehicles supposed to be flat bed? I purchased a 7 x 14 cargo trailer in PA. Towing the empty trailer home to NJ (guessing about 2200lbs) I...

First Tow Impression: 5200+# Travel Trailer

That mileage is pretty good considering the size and weight. I pulled a light 7 x 14 cargo trailer on a 80 mile trip this weekend (mostly highway with few hills) and averaged 9.x mpg (lie-o-meter). Truck was stuck in 7 gear with 3.92 running 65 - 70 mph. Still getting used to this truck...

Shifter knob issues, 2019 RAM 1500, help- BRAND NEW

My truck did this a few times when new (few hundred miles). Now that the truck has some miles on it (8k) and multiple shifts from P to D to P (etc) I don't remember the last time it did this. No software updates were done. No mechanical changes were made. I am wondering about one theory of...

    Differential or Transmission Clunk

8k miles and change. The axle wrapping is getting worse and very noticeable. Although I'm a FCA fan I'm not too impressed with something that should be academic for them at this point (i.e. drivetrains).

    Differential or Transmission Clunk

Sounds like gear whine which will not go away and just get worse. Guessing they rebuilt the rear end and not replaced it? That is why I thought they would have replaced the whole rear axle and not rebuild. Setting up a rear end takes some talent and most don't know how to do it correctly. If...

    Differential or Transmission Clunk

I hear you. However, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. One thing ya have to take into account is that most people who have issues post on forum boards so we (forum board guys) see these negative comments and make our decision about a brand thinking they all suck when actually...

    Differential or Transmission Clunk

Is that a picture of your interior after they tore it apart....to find a rattle? OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck man. I feel sorry when I hear / see cases like this. I'm a hard core FCA fan but when I see **** like this I'm not so sure its FCA but inexperienced service techs and dealers. WOW!

    Differential or Transmission Clunk

I didn't know dealers would even try to rebuild axles. I've heard they just replace the whole axle assembly as the time spent rebuilding vs. replacing is similar with less likely of it going wrong. Gear swapping is somewhat of an art to get right. I've done maybe a dozen or so gear swaps and...

    Differential or Transmission Clunk

Clunk is still gone. No issues with drivetrain since that fix. Fix done around 1800 miles. Currently have 7600 miles.

    3.21. vs 3.92 gear

You get more torque to the wheels with 3.92 vs. 3.21 for the same gear ratio. Plus the gears will be spaced closer together so you don't have to over rev to jump to the next gear. For example, you say 7th with 3.21 is same as 8th with 3.92. If that statement is correct (I haven't' confirmed...

    3.21. vs 3.92 gear

I sold the Trackhawk because I couldn't do what I was used to do (tow, carry, etc) in the dually. That car was AWESOME, fast and fun to drive. I miss it, but can't have 2 cars nor do I want to deal with 2 cars. When the Ram Hellcat comes out I'll be sure to be first in line. Why? Because...

    3.21. vs 3.92 gear

You compare to a lesser vehicle and feel the 2019 with 3.21 are more than adequate and 'unbeatable'. I come from a world of 3500 diesels with 4.10 and AISIN's transmissions so my experiences are the opposite. Case in point - all experiences vary and opinions are relative to which is best. Buy...
