Anyone have any experience with Zone lifts? I've been holding out to see what Superlift is going to offer but I'm getting tired of waiting and the Zone kit looks like pretty good deal when adding the fox shocks and UCA's.
Just put the PC in on top of the Pulsar. Was skeptical but figured I'd give it a shot. Sport + mode on the PC combined with Performance MDF off on the Pulsar......well it's pretty damn fun so far! Imo the PC handles pedal response much better than the Pulsar by itself.
You're probably right! Yeah they're expensive but they are the best imo. No way I'd drop that kinda coin on it unless I was doing a show truck or doing serious off roading.
Just thought I'd put it out there for anyone still looking for a CAI. American Trucks has a $25 off black friday only deal + free shipping and the code works for this intake. Its the only deal I could find anywhere on this intake...
The pulsar also seems to be happier when traction control is off (at least in performance mode). I mostly run in performance with MDS off and TC off. Its addicting lol
I've ran it in tow as well, seems like it's just a little less responsive on the throttle vs performance mode but definitely helpful when towing. For the money I think it's a great add on. I may consider a custom tune down the road but for now I'm happy with the results. I run 93.
I currently have a carven muffler and pulsar. S&B intake coming soon. I definitely notice a pretty significant difference with the pulsar in performance with MDS off.
I didn't even consider leaving stocks on.....good call. Luckily I'm running my winter set of wheels and tires I got pretty cheap before slapping on the expensive summer gear so it should work out.
I'm waiting for Superlift to see what options they're going to offer with it. Possibly blisteins or fox because they just signed a deal with them recently. If not I'll likely go with procomp, bds or fabtech and upgrade the shocks. Also wanted to wait till around christmas to buy as there will...
If you're buying the kit yourself and having them put it on your best price will be on the Procomp kit. Liftkits for less has the Procomp basic kit for $1599 right now (lowest price I know of) and BDS for $2k. Fabtech also makes a good basic kit for $2k.
I'm essentially doing the same setup as...
