MFT Bed Step Installed - Missing A Mounting Hole For Bolt (that was in the instructions)...

Ahhh - so yours was the "A" version (versus mine, the AB revision). And it still called for the 3rd hole - which means it assumed the hitch mount was going to have it PRIOR TO the '21 models. And the revisions in the AB version may also have been done to accommodate the corner step also...

Leather dash lifting away and crating bubbles, seats peeling

Good luck with that. LOL. I NEVER use any "greasy kid stuff" on my interiors. Damp microfiber. 25% Simple Green on stubborn things. Rick

MFT Bed Step Installed - Missing A Mounting Hole For Bolt (that was in the instructions)...

Thanks for the response. Yeah - that's one way to do it - not really the route I wanted to take. My kit came with 3 bolts - instructions said to trash the one that was removed on the outside. Out of curiosity - did you remove the hitch assembly or drilled freehand while it was still on the...

MFT Bed Step Installed - Missing A Mounting Hole For Bolt (that was in the instructions)...

First off - sorry no pics (will snap some later). So - at long last - my MFT step finally arrived. Part Number: 82216265AB - 2019 1500 Limited. This has obviously gone through a number of revisions. I went to a friends shop - just because I didn't feel like laying on my back to do the...

    Electronic Underseat Gun Mount

for the coroner to show up. There, fixed that for you. Spent a lot of time traveling the states on tour with a band. MD was one of those places I'd freak out about - making sure to pull over in the rest stop right before the VA/MD border and secure all weps outside of the passenger...

    hellwig swaybar and towing

Yes - running one on my Limited 4X2. Started at medium - went up to firm. Might go back to medium as I spend most of my time unloaded. Rick

Does the Hemi have issues? ie “tick”

Not addressing (can't speak to) the "tick" - that aside, it depends on what you're looking for. The F-150 Platinum with the diesel was a very very close second to the RAM I ended up with. But the comfort, features and price point of the RAM got me into - the RAM (even @ a $67K sticker). You...

Leather dash lifting away and crating bubbles, seats peeling

Mine is doing the same thing - both sides of dash - and the plastic over the tray. Waiting for the next time I'm out by the dealer (for my windshield wiper recall) to open a ticket on this. Surprised you use a shade and this still happened. Dealer asked me if I used one (I don't). Manual...

I am due to replace spark plugs. What''s the best out there?

Also keep in mind - our 5.7 Hemi's have TWO PLUGS per cylinder. So - with 100K mi plugs, it's both silly and costly to replace at 30K Just sayin... Rick

    AC issues fixed for 2020???

All good brother - my parade is just fine. I stuck a thermometer in out of idle curiosity. I'm just fine with my A/C - got me through a blistering humid Fort Lauderdale summer in blissful comfort. I DO remote start the truck to get it cooled down some, before I walk out of the house. So I...

    AC issues fixed for 2020???

Say what you will. But as I've remarked - even at 105 with the heat index, my interior gets cold enough that I have to bump the thermostat up to 67-68 to keep from getting frozen. Now - I found I got better results with the A/C set to AUTO - than I did by setting a temp/fan speed/outlets...

    AC issues fixed for 2020???

Live in Fort Lauderdale. Oven-like with high humidity and heat index. I run my A/C on Auto/Low - and haven't had any issues. Initial cool-down in a hot cabin is something I expect. When everything gets to stable operation - I'm 58 degrees out of drivers side/center console vent. It...

    Tow Hook Hardware

Interestingly - the rubber rings are NOT listed separately... https://www.moparpartssurplus.com/a/Ram_2019_1500-Limited-Crew-Cab-57L-HEMI-V8/_51505_7591348/Tow-Hooks--Front/i2380258.html Found this a lot when looking for stuff on Mopar parts fiches. My truck had a couple of stripped fasteners...

ETorque ? Anyone happy with it? Reliability ?

I bought mine - because I couldn't find a truck in the color/optioned the way I wanted, without it. That being said - don't really see much of a difference. Stop/Start on my previous Honda Pilot was annoying - to the point where I pushed the button automatically to disable when I started the...

Hard cold start after header install

If you're a "mod-aholic", you just can't leave well enough alone. Previous gen vettes were almost a waste - no weight on the azz end = no traction. I used to zip tie the bypass valve on my blower, so it wouldn't go into boost when the streets were wet - because you could never tell when it was...

Hard cold start after header install

Threads like this are another reason I'm staying away from modding this one - despite the fact that you typically only hear about problems more than success stories. Magnussen blower C6/LS2 12 PSI - AFR 225 heads (shaved to 220) - Custom Spec Comp Cams Blower Cam - Progressive Methanol...

Hard cold start after header install

Original poster mentioned tune and going back to factory tune - so he either has an unlocked PCM, or a swapout. It appears that FCA is quick to try and get out of warranty repairs at the slightest provocation - and unlocked PCM's are going to guarantee that. Hell - I take out my pedal...

Hard cold start after header install

But unlocking the ECM to tune it will. Unless you get a NEW/UNLOCKED one - and swap it in. I was considering the MOPAR CAT-back & CAI - with an ECM and Tune. But I really don't need a 7Klbs truck to move faster. I like how quiet it is. Which is not to put-down others that choose to spend $$...

    Battery Died, now no Uconnect

^^^^ THIS. My battery has only died once (fingers crossed). It usually takes a few hours for all the computers in the truck to re-establish communications. I've had to disconnect the battery to reset the "emergency call" function (hit the button by accident, no one ever picked up - and you...
