How do the PIAA’s handle the cold weather? Are they as effective against snow and ice? Im in this dilemma now as my OEM blades are starting to leave a line on the glass after use
Had my dealer quote me a similar price when I first got my truck back in Feb. Figure most dealerships’ hourly rate is anywhere from $115-$175 per hour, installation would probably take 4-5 hours and if theyre including alignment that seems about the right price
Shouldnt be an issue having them do it, my dealership did the 5100s for me(but still managed to not install the right ORP springs:rolleyes:) Being that the 6112s come with their own coil springs, your dealer will only be installing the rear ORP springs. Im interested in seeing how your setup...
The part number I have for the 6112’s is bilstein 47-293540. Does anyone have the part number for the oem top mount for the strut assembly? I plan on assembling coilovers and replacing and selling my 5100’s as whole asemblies
Thats definitely a bit odd. I have noticed that the Bilsteins tend to give more lift than expected in some cases. I have mine on #4 and am pretty much dead level(No ORP springs yet). Now i am torn whether or not to have the dealer move down to setting #3 when they install my ORP springs. I might...
Wondering what the highest lift possible without changing wheels or adding spacers and not looking like your riding on stilts. I currently have Bilsteins on setting 4 with 275/65R20s. Ill be getting ORP springs installed by my dealer this week and am thinking about going a little bit higher. Any...
As much as I want to install them on my truck, I dont want to be the guinea pig either lol. Im happy I didnt do the 5100s on setting 5, I would of definitely would of been nose high.
I had them on my BTS last February and the little bit of snow/ice they were fine. They were pretty good all around tires for being OEM, decent in the rain, not bad light off roading, meh in the sand(not aired down). Do not confuse the ORP OEM Falken Wildpeak AT3WA’s with the AT3W’s, two totally...
I personally don’t have experience with RC’s shocks or kits but I do plan on eventually upgrading my UCAs using theirs. Others here have used the UCAs with success and said the build quality is very good.Ive read and heard of others having issues with RC stuff in the past and Ive also heard of...
I was in the same boat but I went with the 275/65 as Duratracs dont come in the 285/65. I inquired about BFG KO2s but they were backordered apparently and plus they like to pick up and throw gravel. So far im happy with my decision.
I think the dealer can order the BTS as a dealer supply truck...
1. Not sure how the Bridgestone Duelers are, I think theyre highway tires but I’m sure theyre better that the Goodyear SR-A’s that were on my 17’
2. During a snow storm and before the roads are cleaned up it doesn't hurt to leave it in 4wd auto. If you plan on upgrading to different tires and...
Thats a nice gain, ill take mine once i have my truck on a flat surface. Now all you have to do is upgrade the stock rubber, what size tires are you looking at?
