I guess we agree to disagree on this. I installed the Right On brackets and use a Gatortrax which in combination provide more support than the brackets alone.
If I had a reason to take them off for a short period of time like the OP wanted to, I would...you would not and that's fine.
So the traditional tailgate isn't solid either as there are gaps all around the solid part of the gate. Add to that the fact that those 12" brackets in the front corner aren't going to add significant strength down the 5.7 or 6.4' length of the bed side. (ie. they wouldnt' prevent the body side...
You guys know about this thread? lots of info here and where the Right On Brackets originated.

Even so though, the 12" Nav is much better than what Android...
Before I ordered the AAWireless I watched a Youtube from a guy testing a bunch of dongles. The reviewer had updated a couple of the working dongles to the latest firmware and they stopped working. That experience and my own "if it aint broke"... convinced me to never update my AAWireless which...
According to Mopar the dealer has to accept it as it is on the computer just like your Maxcare plan. I used 10, $46 changes on my Gen 2 and 2 of the 4 on my Gen 3 with the latest service manager bitching that the loose money on them....what a crock. Mopar entered into a contract with Penzoil...
Have you deleted the Moto from Uconnect, "Forget" the BT connection on the phone, and then tried to connect it again? Mine, when I had it, always worked fine.
I'd plug my truck in every night just to warm the oil if I wasn't positive that you'd see me driving down the road towing my house behind me connected with the extension Coard.
