Thanks, you never know the capabilities of the forum members. I try to give a helping hand when I can, like others, and have combined some threads so they are consolidated in one place for new members. And then other times my 40 years of firehouse kitchens comes out. If I had a nickel for all...
I left my mds on for 40011 miles, diagnosed "internal damage", and needs motor without it being torn down yet. Not saying the mds had anything to do with the "internal damage".
Just get underneath the truck. Should be no major issues except for some 2019s with bad rusty oil pans. Forum members have used Woolwax and such products. There is a thread on the 5th gen forum somewhere on this topic.
I felt the same way as you until my 40011 mile Ram conked on the NY Thruway. Today is the start of week 13 at the dealership with diagnosis "internal motor" and "needs motor". Nothing done at this point with my "lifetime warranty". Hopefully as per service manager 2 weeks to start, no promise...
Some models do have reclining rear seats and some have modified their seats to recline. It's on the 5th generation forum somewhere. I do not think the Laramie comes with reclining rear seats.
I have a 2001 Dodge Ram SLT and I believe you are correct or maybe 235. Thought about getting a 6 cylinder in 2018 when I ordered my Ram because I was use to the 2001 and still serves me well, somewhat.
Decided on the 5.7 with 395 hp. The 2001 is tagged as 16 mpg vs the 5.7 at 21 mpg highway.
