Only counts horse shoes and hand grenades LOL
I was checking the status of my CRS!
Directions give + - also.
4 sets of running boards. I have swapped out running boards several times, remembered the 14, forgot the +-.
1 ebay (crap), 2 OEM used sets (good deals), 1 black Friday or something like...

Had my engine replaced. In talking to the mechanic he believes it was the lifter that caused the valve to drop.
This video explains MDS but at the beginning is a nice shot of the lifters, push rods and rocker to give an idea how they are interconnected to the valves.
"For those that purchase (used) in excess of the factory drivetrain warranty it would have been a “bitter pill to swallow." YEAH - it sure makes me gun shy on buying used now.
I just dumped a batch of $ into a 1990 Celica with 193K, stopped all the oil leaks. I don't drive it that much but does come in handy depending on circumstances, really nice on the highway, a little sluggish tranny till warmed up. I know what I have. Still get a thumbs up once in a while. I...
I met the mechanic that did the job, seemed like a very capable and conscientious man who has been at it for years so that makes me feel good, but at the same time there is a lot of wrenching going on. Time will tell. I'm not going anywhere as I have the "lifetime warranty".
I still have a...
Reviews are like listening to the news. You need to read through and decipher for yourself. I brought up the review to see if there is any correlation to your assessment and some others' perspectives. Which a 2.1 out 5 I think would verify your opinion. BUT I don't know how dealerships rate...
You are not alone. 40011 miles, lifter went bad caused a dropped valve, engine replaced under lifetime warranty along with a new battery for the cost of $106 (my deductible+tax). Hang tight, wish you well and hopefully all will go well.
I have changed my oil at various per centages and calculate how many miles I could have driven at the current rate.
7073
10000
7142
7173
10060
10195
10193
The top of the list was when I was doing mixed driving. The bottom of the list is when I did primarily highway.
The 7073 was on my 2nd oil...
Just went through a 4 month wait to get my motor replaced. Lost some faith as there were no indications of any issues and nothing I can do to stop it from happening again. I have it back since Sept. 28th and have put a few miles on it. Happy to have it back, kind of like having a fight with...
Thinking back, I believe there may be a thread on sales people. I had gone to a batch of dealerships at my leisure and was not impressed at all with the sales people, finally dealt with a sales manager and got the Ram at invoice, along with 5K from Ram, true car $ and $500 coupon sent to me...
Update:
Engine light for the cyl 8 misfire came on with 102 miles and went off (reset?) at 145 miles on the new engine.
Note: Light was off after attending 5 o'clock mass. Proof there is a God?
Thanks to all for the advice.
