In my 3 years of ownership, I've never waited for my power side steps to pop out. There are instances that the retraction was delayed somehow. I would hear it retract while I'm already driving down the road.
I also have the OEM rubber mats. But if I didn't, I think I like the TuxMats. And it looks like they have it for the 2025s.
