Get to the dealer in the morning and tell them you want the tech to ride with you until you can reproduce the issue. I wasted 2 trips dropping off my truck only to come back at the end of the day with "Technician unable to reproduce owner complaint. "
For me it was a constant vibration. Once it started it would continue for another 15 to 30 degree rotation of the steering wheel. Only last maybe 2-3 seconds. Imagine your steering wheel having the same vibration setting as your phone for 2 to 3 seconds.
I've been traveling for work the last few weeks and haven't had a chance to head back to the dealership. Right now it happens 25% of my slow right hand turns. I'm kind of waiting to get it to be more consistent so it'll happen with the tech in the truck. I'll be sure to post any updates. Like...
Mine typically happened when leaving a stop sign or in parking lots. Same speed, 8-12 mph. Happened when turning both right and left. The first couple of times the dealer said they couldn't duplicate it. The third time I told them I want the tech to ride with me. Was able to show them the...
You guys are so lucky to be outside of FL. Florida requires extended warranty contracts to be sold at MSRP. So $4,465 for my 8/125k warranty for me. This price is from both Ziglers and Mopar Service Contract. Since both are identical in price and 0% financing, do you guys have any preference...
It's not exactly high tech but this works for me when I go for runs. The key fob just fits.

Only thing I can recommend is to spend the time and tell the service manager that you want a tech to ride with you until it happens again. I had a vibration issue and twice they shop said they couldn't replicate customer complaint. Finally went 1st thing in the morning. Asked for a tech to do a...
My tailgate is experiencing the same issue of random times it won't open/unlatch. Started doing this last month. Wondering if I need to fork over the $$$ for an extended warranty.
Was gonna just leave it and deal with the issue but realized I spent a lot of money on this, my first truck,. Took it to the dealer and asked if a tech could ride with me. Right when I was going to give up the noise happened. The tech drove it and we were able to cause the issue numerous times...
Mine started at about 10k miles. Same issue as you. Feel a vibration in the steering column similar to the tires grinding on a plastic wheel well cover. At 20k service, the dealer said they couldn't replicate the problem. Same as the 30k. Whatever it is has slowly lessened now that I'm at...
Would you mind uploading some pics? Warm weather is coming up here in N FL. I would like to rig something up to haul the bikes around. Thanks for the links and idea.
I'm right at 30k with the original Goodyears on 22s. I should still be able to get another 8k to 10k out of them. Keep them at 38 psi and rotate every 10k. I do see a little wear at the outside edge of the tires that were on the passenger front side. I will get a lifetime alignment this weekend.
I read all the reviews and comparison threads on here regarding the roll covers. I ended up buying the Truck Covers USA brand. https://www.truckcoversusa.com/american-roll-cover/ The main reason I chose this over the Roll n Lock brand is that the canister is smaller on the Truck Covers brand...
Same issue here. "Auto" is worthless. Temp outside is in the upper 40s. Start the truck up with everything set to Auto and 75 degrees. Wife gets pissed because cold air blasts out of the vents for 30 mins. Finally have to do everything manually because she shuts her vents and my kid in the...
