I was able to get 38 degree ac with my solenoid closed then when I turned the switch off it warmed up to 47 degrees. The ambient outside temp was about 88 and my truck was sitting in direct sunlight. And as for some people thinking they will only have to turn their valve twice a year, I turn...
If wired correctly it should never give you a problem, I’m pretty experienced with these types of things so I am confident it won’t give me any problems. If something were to happen the valve is normally open so everything would flow as intended by ram. As for only needing to change the valve...
I had mine fixed several months ago, I thought it was the real main seal. Turns out it was running from the front of the engine to the rear, Dealer replaced the timing cover seal and haven’t had the issue since. They also replaced the drivechaft because I was getting a small leak out of the rear...
I have the 2" and 2 5/16" combination B&W hitch and use the 2" for my jetski and other boast and I use the 2 5/16" for a 14,000lbs GVW flatbed trailer. I've never had a need for 1 7/8" ball.
The valve is brass so it has a little bit of weight in it, I chose that spot because it was right in the middle of two mounts for the heater hose. For the electric part of the install I found a key on power source so my battery won’t drain if I forget to turn it off, then just ran the wires into...
Just got my ridge grapplers put on yesterday. First impressions is they're just as quiet as the stock bridgestones, they handle the bigger bumps better but the smaller stuff you feel a little bit more. Can't decide if I want my rims gloss black or matte black. 305/55r20
The stock 20's are 9" wide. I'm running 305/55r20 ridge grapplers on the stock 20's and there's about a 1/4" gap between the tire and the upper control arm. If you go with any wider of a rim I think it would push the sidewall of the tire into the upper control arm.
My tires physically measure at 33.25" tall and 12.5" wide. I have a 2 inch level and there is very slight rubbing if I hit a big bump while turning, nothing to be worried about though. Most tires that are labeled 33" measure closer to 32.5"
I understand, just thought I’d clear it up for anyone reading this thread in the future. People looking for the best ride would want to go with the standard load tires. And the earlier posts might have confused some people.
Just ordered the 305/55r20 ridge grapplers for my stock rims. The older posts in this thread are incorrect, the 305/55r20 tires are not xl rated. The 305/50r20 are the xl rated tires the difference being the xl tires are rated for about 330lbs more load per tire at 50psi the 305/55r20 tires are...
Just ordered an electronically operated ball valve. It's the "normally open" version, so with the flip of a switch in the cab it will close off the coolant flow to the heater core giving me the coldest temps possible. And if its a really cold morning I can just turn it off and have everything...
