    Motofab 2.5” leveling kit installed

I can't find the Readylift control arms by themselves. Where is the attached advertisement for the arms from?

    Motofab 2.5” leveling kit installed

I checked with Rough Country. They do not sell the arms alone. I have also heard concerns with their quality. It looks like Readylift is the only option for now.

    Motofab 2.5” leveling kit installed

Just read an article from Off Road Warehouse on the uniball versus a ball joint. Thanks for the information. I wish Maxtrac made their uppers with a ball joint.

    Motofab 2.5” leveling kit installed

Good to know. I knew it was a unit ball which I thought would be better. I did not realize there was a problem with noise or squeaking. I saw somewhere on the site where it is possible to get the Mopar 2 inch lift upper control arms individually and the price looked good. Any thoughts on those?

    Motofab 2.5” leveling kit installed

Ordered the Motofab 2.5 spacer today for my Bighorn with ORP. My truck is currently at the yard in St. Louis waiting to be delivered to the dealer. I haven’t decided, but may do an inch in the rear. I don’t mind a little rake. I am also leaning heavily toward the Maxtrac aluminum upper...

    Trade value?

Is the dealer offering that amount on a fully discounted new truck? That could be part of it. I have found the used pickup market is fairly good. There are a lot of people willing to pay top dollar for a used truck that has been well taken care of. I sold mine outright and found that to be...

    Rigid Industries Light Bar Installation

I second the build and offer them for sale. You might be surprised how many people might want them. Nice job.

    **** Cepek Trail Country EXP

There are certainly many choices. I do want to run good tires, but $341 per tire for the Nitto Ridge Grappler is a lot of money. I have never owned the Nitto's so I don't want to be critical of them. I have heard a lot of good things about them and they are a great looking tire. I just...

    **** Cepek Trail Country EXP

I noticed after I made the post that it was changed to **** Cepek. At first I thought ?????, then, oh, OK, I got it. :D

    **** Cepek Trail Country EXP

I have been shopping tires for a while now. I am waiting to make my tire purchase until my new truck arrives (looks like it was built this past Saturday or Sunday). I have already purchased some Method Double Standard wheels in 18X9 -12. I want to run 35/12.50 or 305/70 tires. I have owned...

    6" lift and 37s

Your truck looks great. What gears are you running? I am also curious about whether it downshits a lot with the larger tires.

    Greetings

Welcome and I second the off-road thing. What and where do you wheel? Do you own a Ram now?

    Hello from Central Illinois

Well, I am one step closer. Just checked the updated BOTS and see where my truck has been built and released from the factory. I checked but no window sticker yet. It has been almost two months since I ordered it. I have been reading a lot of posts from the web site and have been learning a...

    Which truck to buy!

I am one of those who sold my Ram 2500 with a Cummins and ordered a new 1500. There were a lot of things to love about the diesel, but some big dislikes. I had to have my turbo replaced at about 80,000 miles. The EGR and other pollution equipment causes a lot of issues I did not have with my...

Silver Big Horn Sport on 35’s

Your truck looks great. I have a Bighorn Off Road on order. I have been over anxious to get started on it. I really wanted 18 inch wheels and I ordered some Method 18 x9 -12 Double Standard wheels. I have been waiting on tires and lift/leveling kit. I have been searching the internet for...

Ram 1500 orders - Tell Us About Yours!

I ordered a Bighorn with off-road package, level 2 and other options to include 3:92, larger fuel tank, and brake controller. I placed my order 8/30 and was told a VIN was assigned the following week. When I saw how fast others were getting their truck, I called to inquire. I was told there was...

BFGoodrich T/A KO2 vs Nitto Rodge Grappler

I know the question here is Nitto or BFG. I have been looking at the same two tires. However, I just received my most recent Four Wheeler magazine and I see where Cepek now makes a hybrid tire called the Trail Country EXP. They have a 45,000 mile warranty. The price looks great. For a...

    2" level, 35x12.50 tires rub

I noticed all of the 6 inch lifts say they require 20 inch wheels. I would think since my factory wheels are 18, any 18 should work. I would think the factory rims would have more inset than my Methods. I think they list them as around 4.75 inches. Hopefully my truck gets here soon and I can...

    2" level, 35x12.50 tires rub

So I have been reading the thread and I see a reference to Method 18x9 -12’s. I am waiting on my truck that I ordered the end of August. I just ordered some Method Double Standard wheels in 18x9 -12. I like the 18’s over 20’s for more sidewall on the tire. My question is did the Methods fit to...

    First trip towing (Break in)

Sounds good on the rowing mileage. I am curious to see what kind of mileage you get at 65-70. I would think around the 11 mpg mark.
