Maybe that was a thing before 2020 or perhaps for Rebels. My 2020 Laramie AND worked thru the front and rear door speakers and was wired to one section of wires on the amp under he driver's seat. The wiring diagram helped me identify it. If I disconnected the door speakers from the amp, ANC was...
Granted, I had the HK system in my 2020 Laramie and now in 2024 Limited, but when I disabled the ANC in the 2020 Laramie, road noise was not the issue; exhaust burping was. It would trigger mainly when going up hills. It was quite annoying. I was able to get rid of the road noise with treatment...
Thanks for the pics... looks good. I might need to back up and get 275 width instead of 285.
I don't know if they will be any different, but the TRX wheels I'm looking at are the bead lock wheels. I assume they'll have the same specs as your TRX wheels.
Looking at some takeoffs from a new TRX... just the wheels. I have 275/60R20 on my truck now. I plan on using 285/65R18 on the TRX wheels, which will give me very close to the same size tire... 1/2 inch shorter and 1/2 inch wider.
Anyone know if I'll have any issues with the wheels... or...
If you feel the dash is a bit too bright, you can try the Faital Pro units to smooth that out a little... 3 drivers across the dash - from Parts Express.
I disconnect the top door speakers to improve the front soundstage and imaging.
Xpel makes a specific ceramic coating for their Stealth PPF, but it's not already applied as it is with the 8 mil gloss PPF. OCD did apply it to my wrap, and other areas, wheels, glass, etc.
I don't think it would be a good idea to wax or polish it. Wax would cover it up and polish would...
The only advantage would be if you noticed a difference.
It supposedly eliminates certain noises, but if you did not notice it eliminated those noises or those noises don't bother you, then there really isn't any benefit to you.
If the ANC is disabled, you can connect to the subwoofer speaker wires with no issues. If there is any ANC that is active going to the subwoofer and an aftermarket amp is connected to that subwoofer speaker lead with the ANC active, then I'm not sure how it would not be noticed because it would...
That should be Prime XR Plus on the tint. Supposedly the best at what they have for heat blocking abilities.
Fusion is their ceramic coating that will go on top of the Stealth PPF.
My guess is somewhere between 7-11K, depending on what PPF you go with and what you have done. The 8 mil clear...
FWIW... found a guy in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, who appears to be OCD about making it look right, and said the problems I experienced previously would not be an issue with him, as he agreed I should not have had those kinds of issues. The name of his shop is OCD Tinting and Wraps. He says OCD is in...
Has anyone swapped painted for chrome door handles?
I'm assuming it would be fairly easy since the handles seem to come off easily enough. Since I am having my truck wrapped in the Stealth matte PPF, I don't think I want to wrap the door handles. Those seem to be more difficult to get wrapped...
That really depends on you. You'll only use one signal coming from the factory headunit via a PAC AmpPRO Toslink connection to whatever processor you plan to use. I had a sub channel, front dash speakers, front door speakers and rear fill overhead back that I setup... and did not use other...
I spoke for a while with AP3 Paint Protection in Atlanta earlier today. They have been awarded Xpel Dealer of the Year for the last 4-5 years. They've done more matte Stealth wraps than anyone in the southeast... a bunch. They have all the high-end car dealer contracts in that area. They are...
Got my 24 Limited today... MUCH improved bass over my 2020 Laramie with the HK system. It still is bit much on the mid-bass, yet certainly improved where I an at least live with it.
It seems like it would be too close and I don't care for using them. They messed with the imaging of the dash speakers when I tried them. I've always liked the sound stage, imaging, and especially depth acuity, better when the mids/highs were farther up on the dash close to the windshield. I've...
