Wow! I’ve had my truck almost a year and never realized that about the rear mats. I had to go out and check. You are correct, still two piece. They fit together (a little overlap) so well I’ve never noticed. Still a fan of them though.
I really like the MOPAR all weather floor liners that came standard with my Rebel. Front and back are perfect. Highly recommended even having previous experience with Husky and WeatherTech.
Definitely fine for those rpm’s. No problem talking or sleeping inside the cab. It’s not obnoxious at all, but still wakes up the V8, particularly when you want it to. I still have the rear resonators on mine.
You should check the rules for your state. In Missouri, you pay sales tax on the net purchase price, so after rebates are deducted. Missouri has pretty lenient rules on the whole trade thing as well. You do not have to trade a vehicle into the dealer to get credit for sales tax. In fact, you can...
I’m not sure the turbo reliability is really an issue. While I love my 5.7 Rebel and the way it sounds (and hopefully remain reliable to 200K), my 2013 F-150 with the 3.5L TT has been very reliable now with over 175K miles. It’s had down pipes, intake, exhaust, and been tuned since 1K. It makes...
I had one of those V6 TT in my 2013. While it made plenty of power and pulled like a diesel, it was still a thirsty little girl. A 3.5L V6 in a 6K pound truck is always working hard.
Here is real world gas mileage on a 2022 Rebel 5.7 w/o e-Torque. Date - miles - gallons - hand-calculated mpg/lie-o-meter mpg. I do occasionally tow a 16’ flatbed w/ 2 4-wheelers. This is probably 50/50 city/highway driving with very minimal idle time. This is nowhere close to the advertised...
I’m running the MBRP 5143 and like the sound a lot. It is noticeably louder than stock, but no where close to being obnoxious. It has a nice throaty sound, and there is zero drone at any speed/rpm. It has a nice quiet rumble at idle, but really wakes up when you get on it. The only thing I’ve...
I played around with the pressures a little today. My door jam says 55 front, 45 rear. I had to air the front down to 40 to get a TPMS warning and the rear to 32 to get a TPMS warning. That’s in the ballpark of about 75% of recommended pressures. I think 55/45 would jar your teeth loose empty...
I’ve never had any issues with DuraTracs. Ran a 295 on my modded F150 Ecoboost for 65K. That thing was pushing 500 lb/ft to the tires. No problems in rain or deep snow. I’ve only got 5K on the DuraTracs on my Rebel. No snow yet, but haven’t noticed any real traction issues in the rain at all. I...
Yup, my dealer currently has 54 1500’s on the lot. Most are Big Horns and Laramies. They do have 3 Rebels and 4 Limiteds. You couldn’t find a Rebel or Limited earlier in the year. My sales lady told me they had someone offer $5K over MSRP for my Rebel when it showed up back in April.
That’s what I’ve ran on my Coyote since new. Seems to do a pretty decent job, although I get just the slightest little bit of mist in the outlet hose. I empty it every 1K miles. Just don’t let it build up in the can and you will be fine.
I installed at 1Kmiles. Checked it at 2K, and it had about 1 oz., mostly oil with a hint of gas odor. Checked again at 3,500, and it had about 1 1/2 oz. of the same. I’ll probably move to 2,500 mile intervals (with 5K oil changes). It doesn’t take a minute to dump it. With the Mishimoto mounted...
Actually, there does appear to be some blow by in the mixture caught as it has an odor of gas. I’ve also seen some pretty oiled up intakes on several hemi’s, so to me that’s the greatest benefit. With port injection, the valves should stay pretty clean with or without.
