thanks. that's odd. i have a Google Pixel phone that work fine without being plugged in. it's odd that uconnect clearly states "phone is not supported for messaging" vs it being a configuration or setup error.

Does the 2022 Unconnect 5 allow you to drag apps down to the main menu (bottom toolbar) like the previous gen uconnect did? I have a 2021 Ram and that option works fine. My brother purchased a 2022 ram and it doesnt seem to allow that?

Thanks. I too have had a "price lock" but i just dont see that as specifically protecting you from price increases from the manufacturer that are beyond the dealers control.
