Did this guy really buy a full size V8 truck and select the model that is SPECIFICALLY MADE TO GO OFF ROAD and then come on here to ***** about his gas mileage?
I'm really getting sick of these threads. The 2wd v6 guys aren't bitching that they keep getting stuck in the mud right? so stop...
Mine does the same thing from the front passengers side. It only makes the sound when I'm doing about 80mph and the cross wind is just right. Not enough for me to even try to get the dealership to recognize it. Let me know if you do get it figured out
That 9spd is 50% of why we are trading it in. Even though this year is after the first few years that had all the issues, the transmission still sucks. It acts like a CVT, never knows what gear to be in, the converter slips like crazy with any sort of hard acceleration. Also, we are on motor #2...
Rav4 is a nice vehicle, but basically the same as what she had. We want bigger with v6 or v8 power. pretty sure we have it narrowed down to: 4 door wrangler - durango r/t - Lexus gx460 - Grand Cherokee limited.
She wants the full frame truck feel, the wrangler and the lexus are her favorites so...
I tried to order one when they were doing the "employee pricing" on the wranglers. Bikini Pearl has been discontinued though, so ordering isn't an option. I'll be keeping my eyes open, the right one will come along.
My wife really wants a wrangler, but hard to find in Bikini Pearl, which is the only color she will accept. We drove a willy's and it was really nice, but not the right color. She is also concerned about the kids in the back seat without a fixed roof in case of an accident. It's on the list though
Well, ended up just selling her Cherokee back to the dealer. Going to have to buy her a car when we get down south. The penske car carrier I had reserved has a weight limit and even a GC is too much for it. So, cancelled the carrier and just going down with my truck and the box truck. I'll...
I came from a 2014 silverado and the trucks are night and day different. The chevy is a basic work truck, even in the higher trim models it has that feel to it. Nothing wrong with that, but if you want a modern, good looking, supremely comfortable vehicle, then the Ram is the way to go. Just did...
I'm all about anything hemi or hellcat, but my wife could care less about it. She hates the 4cyl in her cherokee because it is almost dangerously slow, but the 3.6 is plenty for her. going back monday morning to check out the trailhawk again. Might pull the trigger on that one.
Well, 8hrs of vehicle shopping today. It's crazy right now, every car we called about or went to look at was either sold already or had 2 people interested in it at the same time. Walked away from the lexus because the dealer wouldn't honor the online listing price, said it was a mistake and...
We went and looked at a GC yesterday and she liked it. They also had a lexus GX460 which was really nice. tough choice. She's going to drive that one today and see what she likes better.
We really liked the value of the durango, but the ride was very harsh on the GT model we drove, nothing...
trust me, she will get the final say in what she drives. She just has no idea what she wants yet so I'm making some suggestions. I'm probably selling her jeep to my local dealer and purchasing after we get to FL to eliminate having to transport 2 vehicles down there.
My wife has a 2018 Cherokee 4x4 with the 4cyl and 45k miles on it. We are looking to upgrade to something bigger and with more power for her. Our original plan was a 4 door wrangler since she loves them, but we are now opening the doors to some other options. We looked at a Grand Cherokee today...
+1 on using tow/haul mode. Since I did my muffler delete I've been running in tow haul when around town and to me it actually drives a lot better like that. I leave it in regular mode on the highway as MDS isn't nearly as annoying at 75.
Just keep in mind, the trip computer does not continue to calculate mileage forever. It only logs the last 700 miles or so. I just did a 3600 mile road trip and the trip computer matched the last tank when I got home. Hand calculated mileage was much more accurate (about a 2mpg difference) so...
It was a grand total of $20 more to have them deliver 3 yards then it would have been to make 2 trips with my own truck and have to shovel it out. I get free mulch from the dump myself, but not worth it for dirt/gravel. I am however going to pickup 10 railroad ties this week so that should be...
I've recently fallen back in love with my truck after a frustrating first year. Year and 4 months now and I couldn't be happier with it. Ditto on the staring at it when it's clean too
I did the rotors on my last Mustang gt that i owned. $7 can of high temp red engine paint and about an hour to scrub the calipers clean and mask off the wheel well and rotors. Came out great. I say do it!
