Am I correct in that we have until the original factory warranty expires to purchase an extended warranty? If so, is there anything covered in the extended warranty that isn't covered in the factory warranty that would cause you to go ahead and buy it at time of purchase?

Thanks for the write up. If it works like other purchases from dealers and since our quote included tags, Criswell should have put in the paperwork to have a tag ordered and mailed to you.

For all I know they may not even offer it. But, a point was raised in one of my other threads about having the dealer just do the PPF before I pick up the vehicle. In this case, Koons is 8.5 hours away from me. So... A) Anyone have experience good or bad with Koons installing PPF on their...

So, I am on the fence about PPF because I am one of those "research before doing" folks. Not sure if I should have the dealer do it in Maryland or have it done back home... Maryland is a long way to go for repairing any issue I find after the fact....

@GeorgiaBoy what size Track Armor strips did you use? 3"x100' or 6"x100' ?

When my number is called, I will be picking up a RAM 1500 from Maryland (Koons) and driving back to South Carolina. I've read about others using Track Armor for those rides home. When looking on Amazon for reviews, I see mixed results. The last thing I want to do is screw up the paint job...

Gonna have to figure out something for this with our Vizsla. But I will have two car seats back there as well. Dog may just have to stay home or ride in the bed somehow.
