    Perfect truck no issues

My 2016 2500 6.4 hemi Bighorn just turned 175k this week. It has had only regular maintenance, and has been trouble free. Almost 6 years. Great trucks. Hope the ‘22 1500 will follow suit. MANY unicorns exist…

GB, I am close to Blue Springs, so 725 miles. Sounds like the shippers try to combine loads going to the same general area. If our trucks had been ready to ship on the same day, we could have saved money.

GB, looks like it’s going to take $850 to get ‘er here. Should see it next week. Started at $625 per MD’s suggestion. Mark Dodge very helpful and engaged in the process.

    RAM BRAND VEHICLE ORDER TRACKING

Greetings! I still can't track my order. Dealer said it would be in port three weeks ago this coming Friday. No updates from them so far. I am entering the VON on the POC: Tracker doesn't work for me. Starting to wonder if something happened to the truck. Perhaps I imagined this whole thing...

    Mark Dodge Thread

Greetings I hope to make the decision on how best to get my hands on my truck pretty soon. Truck was supposed to be "in port" on 7/2. Have not heard anything more. Trying to not pester the fine folks at MD. I am in the KC area and shipping is probably about $ 1400. Could drive it with a...

    RAM BRAND VEHICLE ORDER TRACKING

Manchu, I placed the order on 3/31. I am using the VON on the POC. I did contact the dealer and got a response. Truck is on a train to Louisiana. Should arrive in port on 7/2 (slow train...) and then languish in the port for 2-3 weeks. Almost 4 months from order date. Looks like the time...

    RAM BRAND VEHICLE ORDER TRACKING

The tracker does not work for me. I have (thanks to tripple B) a build sheet and a window sticker. Very exciting; however, I can't get further info. Such is life. I think I will reach out to the dealer.

    RAM BRAND VEHICLE ORDER TRACKING

Update: I entered the VIN in the Mopar.com vehicle dashboard and have some info. Also, the 2022 RAM tracker spreadsheet shows a "build sheet" but no window sticker. Some progress.

    RAM BRAND VEHICLE ORDER TRACKING

Here is what the dealer sent me. I understand that the VON is the "vehicle order number". I might have this wrong. I have entered the VON on the new tracker. I get nothing...

    RAM BRAND VEHICLE ORDER TRACKING

I have entered the POC about once a day since the tracker came online. Same result: check back later….

    RAM BRAND VEHICLE ORDER TRACKING

I ordered 3/31/22. No information is available via the vehicle tracking link. Dealer says the truck "ships" tomorrow, but we have come to know that means very little. I feel like a mushroom... Once again, I am reticent to complain, some have waited many, many months.

    RAM BRAND VEHICLE ORDER TRACKING

The tracker can't find my truck. I would think it is in the system. I ordered it on 3/31/22 and got the VIN on 4/04/22. The dealer knows nothing and the tracker kindly says "check back later". I can't complain many have waited longer. It would be nice to have an update, though. The order number...

Is blowing smoke on start up always something serious ?

My truck has smoked on occasion. It is not a 5.7, I have the 6.4 in a 2500, so there are some differences. I have owned it for almost 6 years and have 170,000 miles on it. About 5-6 times over the years, when I started it (usually a cold start) it would put out blue smoke for a few seconds and...

Did Ram solve the problem of warped Rambox lids on newly built vehicles?

I guess it comes down you your priorities, If you want a smooth look , don't get Ramboxes. But I am glad to be able to choose to have them. I disagree that they are not popular, I see them on many trucks. I have had them on my truck for almost 6 years. There is some minor mis-alignment, but I...

3.21 vs 3.92: The Last Word

Greetings, I am amazed that something as small as a difference in gear ratio can divide people to this degree and cause such disrespect. But it is the times in which we live... I'm not an engineer or a guru or anything important like that, but I can read: On the left you have the 3.21 ratio...

    Hitch with integrated scale

Greetings! I am moving from a 2500 to a 1500 (on order...) and as I peruse the forums, I have become aware that tongue weight is critical for these smaller trucks. Has anyone used the receiver hitches on the market that have a scale integrated into them? I am curious as to the accuracy of these...

    Diesel even worth it still?

The diversity of RAM owners is pretty awesome. We can all get just what we want. And not disrespect others for their choices. For me, diesel powered light trucks do not make sense anymore. I am currently downsizing to a 1/2-ton truck now, so when I configured my truck to order last month, I...

This is interesting....Locking rear axle also has limited slip?

I thought I read somewhere that the two (electroinic locking and limited slip) can be combined in the same axle. Here is a link :68261224AE - Water Pump - 2019 2020 Ram 1500 | Mopar Parts Canada That of course does not mean that anyone has this installed in their truck. When my truck comes in...

    Order Tracking

I would think that RAM would normally build the orders as they come in. However, we are still not in "normal" times. It is possible that an option (such as heated seats) that a person selects, requires some chip or component that the supplier can't produce. Truck orders that have that option...
