Well, so far, what I like most about it, is that it's basically invisible except for a very slight tint - which I have no problem with. I see no trace of the film.
Just got my truck back. Every pane of glass, including sunroof, got 35% ceramic. Full tint windshield - not sure what percentage, but I can tell it's a bit darker. No distortion on the windshield at all, although, he did say that polarized lenses won't be your friend. But he also said you...
Yea, in retrospect, I'm not sure I would do the indigo thing again. I am constantly having to clean the drivers seat to keep the blue stain down to a minimum. Love the looks, but it's kind of a PIA to keep clean. And if you let it get away from you, it won't ever come clean.
Mine seems to be working fine. Try turning it up to like 70 and see if the fan slows. It was 100 degrees in North Texas yesterday, and my truck had a hard time getting down to temp as the interior was just so bloody hot. But it finally did and the fan did lower.
My guess is, the best you can do is ask for a loaner vehicle. I doubt you stand any chance of getting any kind of compensation other than that. But I guess is never hurts to try.
Glad you dodged that bullet and you're ok! And hat's off to that vendor. I had my own business for over 28 years. My philosophy was always take a bad situation and make it as good as I could - even if it costs me money. That philosophy never let me down.
Support that vendor.
