The answer to both your questions is "most likely" :-) and I'm planning to find out very soon. If they have fixed it for 2020, the updated part will have different last two letters of the part number vs 2019. There's no logical reason the updated part wouldn't fit 2019. I'm sure they haven't...

It's the same with 8.4" screens and I think all trims are affected. EXTREMELY ANNOYING, especially with auto headlights. When you're past that "click", the dimmer goes from 100 to about 35% in one step, with nothing in between. I would love to meet the moron who designed this, the team of idiots...
