Exactly. I've seen all my past and present smartphones (both Androids and iPhones) hang, become unresponsive, force close apps etc. often enough to not depend on them in anything that important - and this can actually be a matter of life or death. These Bluetooth controllers should not be...
Old post, but I thought I'd share my experience. I don't think that matters as long as you wait for each operation to display the "completed" message. I did all in one sequence, one option after another. Turned the truck off and immediately on. Worked like a charm.

I have just installed and successfully programmed the trailer brake controller using SGM bypass, AlfaOBD and a Bluetooth OBD adapter.
I was wondering if it's OK to just leave the SGM bypass connected so that I can play with the truck whenever my heart desires? Or will it cause any problems...
Also, of you're of DIY kind for that kind of price you can get yourself a factory TBC kit, AlfaOBD software, SGM bypass and Bluetooth OBD dongle, program it yourself and have endless hours of fun playing with your truck's software in the future. Just saying ;-)

This works very well. Installed and programmed the trailer brake controller yesterday. Zero problems.

That is definitely not normal. We bought one one of our BigHorns with 16k on the odometer and from a rental company (Enterprise). The steering wheel leather is like new.

It's always been a simple photoelectric sensor doing these things... and now it's cameras! They call it progress, I guess... Oh well [emoji3]
By the way, is that service manual you're quoting available for purchase somewhere? I've been looking for it for some time now with no success, best I...
Automatic high beams don't use any camera either. It's a simple light sensor like in your dusk to dawn security light.

Rain Sensing wipers do not use a camera. What you have is a simple optical sensor that measures infrared reflectiveness of the glass. It's not a camera of any kind.

Again, why would you think "everyone online" would know better than the manufacturer? That makes no sense at all.
5W20 is recommended for the HEMI. 0W20 is recommended for Pentastar.

What would be a logical reason to (want to) go with something different than recommended by the engine designer and manufacturer?

What an utter bullcrap. The whole point and purpose of 4WD AUTO is to automatically turn 4WD on only when required / needed and ELIMINATE the wear of the transfer case, tires and other drivetrain components that "regular" 4WD would cause on dry pavement indeed.
Tell your "transmission guy" to...
I'm experiencing the exact same issue as the original poster, only with Google Pixel 2XL, so it's not phone specific. I suspect that Uconnect is not fully compatible with newer versions of Android, with their extensive permission settings etc. Very annoying. I've read somewhere that Uconnect...
All the ECO, MDS etc. modes are tightly related to calculated engine load, which in turn is dependent on ambient air temperature and atmospheric pressure.
By SAE J1979:
LOAD_PCT = [current airflow] / [(peak airflow at WOT@STP as a function of rpm) * (BARO/29.92) * SQRT(298/(AAT+273))]
