If you can get the used one for less than 400, thats the way to go. I don't really even understand why that latch is there. once you put a few things under the seat there, you'll never fold that box up anyway. Also, if you don't install the latch, then you wont have a couple of bolt holes in the...
I have to believe the bolt holes for the latch are already there behind the carpet. But that latch is only for stowing the panel if your not using it. I've never folded mine up as I carry stuff under there all the time.
The only piece you really need is the storage bin itself. It attaches by a...
Mine were the original black textured plastic. Sanded and painted with spray cans to match my maximum steel body color.
Also painted the hood vents to match.
Been about 10,000 miles and still looks like new.
I have one of these on my truck. I really like it. Provides extra storage in normally wasted space. It doesn't interfere with anything I've carried.
The only drawback is if you have a bed cover that has a latching system that hooks to the underside of the bed rail, this will most likely block...
I would have to say pretty good. I've had mine since September and they look like brand new.
It's not a really dense foam. very light weight, but seems pretty tough.
I have the smaller set. Just whats in the red circle for the center console.
I'm very happy with mine. Keeps all of my little junk contained and they are easily removed for cleaning.
The fit is pretty good. Made of foam, all of the parts hold there shape.
I've personally spent a lot more...
Do you happen to know whats behind the cordless charging pad/phone holder?
I don't have cordless charging and my phone doesn't fit in those little flaps for the holder.
Was thinking about removing that and putting my CB there.
you'll need to remove the hood line to get to the vent tabs. Then release the tabs one at a time while prying the vent away from the hoo with a plastice trim tool.
The trim pieces come off the truck as one assembly. remove the radiator cover (a few plastic push pins) to expose the pins and...
I painted the hood vents and the trim piece between the grille and the hood body color.
I left the texture on the hood vents, but removed it from the trim piece.
Hoping to do the large hood bezel next, but it will have to wait until spring.
from what I've read, you just need to pry it off with plastic trim removal tool. You can't save it. the retaining clips will break off.
Apparently, that part of the hood is double walled and the clips are between the inner and outer layers.
Dodge sells an auxiliary switch panel for the 4th gens that you might be able to incorporate into a custom mount. There are several wiring diagrams on the web to install this.

it's an empty space behind there. But it's not deep enough for standard switches. Maybe if you found some type of low profile switch.
I took mine apart and hollowed it out, but it didn't work out.
To remove the console, open the sunglass holder, and remove the 2 screws inside there. Then...
Bought my 2019 Rebel just about a month ago. Love it so far!!!
Maximum steel with red interior package.
No major mods planned at this time. Just a few cosmetic and convenience things.
so far I've added Mudflaps, rear LED pods under the rear bumper, a couple blue LED's in the overhead console...
