My best guess never... they have been talking about an update since 1+ year. They had promised a 2nd and 3rd quarter that has now become 4th quarter that will soon become next quarter... If you ask me they keep telling us about an update until we buy our next truck... and won’t ever update...

Because a) the alerts are 95% outdated and b) the map display on waze is worse than google or Apple (if I want to read a comic book I’ll do that at home on the couch) c) I get annoyed about the police or stopped vehicle alerts that turn out to be nothing... d) just drive as you are supposed...

I use it preferred over CarPlay nav I think in terms of map and directions display it’s far superior. Also displaying directions in the instrument cluster imho is very useful. In terms of being up to date the destination search is indeed a P.O.S. The uconnect app uses google maps for address...

The not fixing anything is one thing but what’s the cherry on the icing is that they ( @RamCares not!)are straight out lying in our faces since 1+ year claiming they would fix the problems and release updates just to get you off their ***... and apparently they promote that unethical behavior...

Workaround is to use the uconnect app to send the location on your truck. The app uses google maps.. Also doubt that this is designed to work that way... those are just dealers making up excuses and explanations to get you off their ***... this is @RamCares not getting their sh... together as...
