Hey I literally did the same thing last weekend. Ordered all blackout badges and also vinyl lettering to make the letters pop (painted ram head myself) and removed all chrome badging. The key is definitely to use a heat gun and also FISHING LINE to get behind the badges and tear the decal away...

Those are awesome. I just re-did all of my emblems with OEM black badges and painted the lettering and RAM's head white.
