Your best bet is to find a respectable shop and run your idea past them. If they are good, they will only suggest what fits for your situation.

1/2 ton trucks are not designed to tow 5th wheel trailers. It's more than just how much your truck can tow, it's also the strength of the frame, gearing, cooling, transmission and more. No respectable RV dealer would even suggest a 5th wheel, let alone install a 5th wheel hitch on a 1/2 ton truck.

I splurged on Covercraft/Carhartt Dux Precision fit custom covers. They're a little pricey but well worht it.

So as of tonight, tracking on the Ram website says vehicle is built. I received my build sheet this past week, at that time estimated delivery date was 7/7/22. Waiting to view my window sticker and see if delivery date has changed.
