Good info on this thread, also curious if anyone knows of a 2 or 2 1/2” spacer for the bottom of the rear spring that would work on the new DT’s. Might cure my in coil air bag problem!
Not to thread steal from @Livinfast85, but imo, the lights “stick’ very well. You have to want to remove them for them to come off. I know they haven’t been on long but I have power washed the truck and we have had a couple rounds of rain/snow and no problem.
Any suggestions? I had the air lift 1000 bags installed some time ago. I also have a lift block on top of the coil so installer had to drill a hole through the block for the air line. After lots of time and many tries we just can’t keep the line from pinching with suspension travel. Cannot get...
Just a FYI if your talking cab clearance lights. I wanted them on my ‘19 Ram, have had them on all my other trucks which is many. I ordered the current GM style 3 piece lights through an installer because they are small which would work better due to the limited space because of the pano roof. I...
Darn the luck, no matter how careful sometimes it still happens. Hats off and respect to the coach who hit the truck for doing the right thing. Need more people like that out there. Helps to ease the situation, relatively speaking, and sure is better than a hit and run.
I have owned two Pentstar v-6 equipped vehicles and have not had any problems with them as far as reliability goes, had both to just over 100,000 miles then traded vehicles( they still were running great, was just time to upgrade). Currently have close relatives who have v-6 equipped vehicles...
Agree, something doesn’t seem right. I too like a little rake even with a lift. I had the 3 1/2” lift installed which only came with a 1” block for the rear, made the rear look “squatty”. I then purchased a 2 1/2” rear block from Southern Truck and swapped them. Much better now!
Just a small part of the article. (y) But nobody spends more pennies on its interiors than Ram. In the new-for-2019 1500’s upper trims, Laramie Longhorn and Limited, the detailing and material richness exceed not only those of any other current pickup...
Thank you @Livinfast85, did the exact same. Ordered mine after reading your thread here and installed them this evening. Really impressed with the amount of light these put out for their size. I’m going to thread bomb and add a couple pictures!:D Pictures aren’t the best but you get the idea.
I guess I’ll chime in here, been just reading this thread and staying quiet! I agree with @rcl2020. Should have tested these trucks individually if they wanted, the thumbnail and title give the impression of a side by side direct comparison. Well no crap the little Chevy would do better. Not a...

Nice thing about the classic is there are plenty of available mods out there to spend money on since they are the same as the last gen. Can’t say that for the DT, but it is getting there:)
