My local dealer replaced mine under warranty even though I was past the 12 month/12K mile glass warranty without me even having to ask (still in the 3 year/36K mile warranty period then). New window still good so far... but not confident it won't happen again.

I think you're probably right and the manual is referring to the fuel vapor canister filter, part no. 68192068AC. At least that's my best guess. 🤷‍♂️

Works great in theory, but ignores the dark side of human nature when a lot of people get behind the wheel. I've rarely ever seen the zipper merge work.

My wife and I are thinking this might be the case, at least for us. Ours didn't leak until just after a couple of freezes. It never had the visible cracks and leaked at both sides of the window. I'm back at work now, but the wife is keeping an eye on it after this last freeze Central FL just had.
