That's new! As of August, the ASG features weren't available at all for the Longhorn, Ram must have slipped those back in at some point since without publicizing the update.
That was my original plan, back when the HDs were rumored to be updated to 5th gen for the '21 MY! I test drove both a CC and MC 2500 and both were deal breakers.
ASG is not available on the Longhorn right now, Southfork or no. The only way to get the contents of that package right now is to move up to a Limited. Whether or not that will change during the '22 MY is anyone's guess.
On the plus side, the TG features are in the Longhorn Level 1 package now.
I really wish Ram would update the 2500+ to 5th gen so we could get the 1500 long bed with Ramboxes.
I think the CCLB looks more proportional than the CCSB and would get it in a heartbeat if Ram got off its butt and offered Ramboxes in the LB again
Big caveat--I have the v6, not the Hemi.
I've used 87 since day 1 with zero issues. Around here (Northern Virginia), 89 tends to run $0.30-0.60 more than 87, with 91 tending to run $0.60-0.90 more than 87. Even if I managed to eke out a mpg or two or a few hp from higher grade gas, at best it'd...
I'm on the fence, mainly because of logistics. I live in a townhouse with street parking, so charging at home isn't possible. No chargers at work, either, so my only local charging option would be public charger...which doesn't appeal to me at all as a regular charging routine.
Otherwise I'd be...
You can see my lifetime mpg in my signature. Roughly 40/60 mix of city/highway on rolling hills around here. I drive with a light foot except for the acceleration onto a ~60mph road right outside my neighborhood each day.
Pick your poison:
Real trucks have a V8, the bigger the better. Only girly-men drive sissified "trucks" without a V8.
V8s are fun
The Hemi nameplate as a storied history
You'll have to pull me kicking and screaming into the 21st century of engine tech
Anything that is not a Hemi will 100% crap...
I'll be checking out a hybrid 1794 in the spring. I'm 100% brand agnostic, and while I like my DT, I'm looking for more power and better MPG for the next truck that I'm gonna get next year. Right now the candidates are another DT with the diesel or a Powerboost, and the Tundra will at least get...

The appearance is, uh, definitely an acquired taste, but it's certainly attractive on paper. Seems to be a lot of picking and choosing features from Ram, Ford, and GM.

Not gonna lie, I'm interested enough to check it out in the spring, primarily a hybrid 1794. On paper, it seems quite attractive, though the looks are definitely an acquired taste.
Prior to getting my DT, I had a couple of Toyotas and took them to two different Toyota dealerships here in Northern Virginia. Neither was anything special and from my perspective the service level has been pretty much the exact same as the Ram dealership I take my truck to. I haven't had any...
I don't care for the Chevy version's exterior, but I'm looking forward to seeing the GMC version.
I personally think the Denali has the best looking exterior of any of the half tons, it's the current interior that was a hard pass for me when I was browsing earlier this year.
I'm up for a new...
Right, I'm referring to a mat, not a Bedrug. As far as I can tell, none of the manufacturers make a mat that fits a Ramboxed truck, either 5th or 4th gen.
I just want Toyota to quit farting around and just unveil the darn truck already.
I'm a sucker for chrome (yeah, I'm one of *those* people), and I think that grille would possibly look decent in a version that's chrome.
Beyond all that, I'm 100% brand agnostic. I'm up for a new truck this...
Can Toyota please just fiiiiinally go ahead and unveil the Tundra now? I'm getting a new truck in a few months and would like to know what the actual options are on the market.
I'm not sure if I want to grit my teeth and order a Limited (really, really prefer the interior of a LH over a Limited, hence my current LH), or start exploring the competition.
ACC is a must-have for me and I'm really not happy that Stellantis has made it currently orderable in only two trims...
