Paint processes may have gotten better, but will never match Mother Nature. Theres plenty of areas under / inside the panels of vehicles that salty water can get into.
Now if I lived in Texas / Arizona or the like I probably wouldn't bother, but being in good ole Atlantic Canada ill slather...
Mine started doing this again the other day, dealer says theres an update in the works for this. I also noticed my CarPlay won't work while its acting up either
If the panel is made for a 2500, they don't come with air suspension, so there wouldn't be a need for it.
On a 1500 having the aux panel, you'd also likely loose the tow/haul, traction control, and park sense functions as well.
seeing as how im thinking of putting these on my '19 im interested as to what airlift has to say.
My truck also does not have the ORP, just standard suspension
Just went and checked mine 1459lbs. Crew cab, Hemi, 5.7 bed, 4x4 ,3.21, panoramic roof, level 2 equip pkg. Seems its one of the higher ones I've seen....
Not sure about the 5th gens ( although im considering adding them to mine ) But I had a set of the 1000HD's on my '16 Ram. They seemed to work great. I had 3 tubs filled with class A gravel sitting at the tailgate and the truck didn't squat at all. each tub was easily 400lbs. I only had 5PSI...

I figure its due due to the short bed and the way the last piece is made.
My truck was doing this as well 8.4 with iPhone X Dealer did an update to the stereo works fine now.
Its wort noting the dealer had an update available but the uconnect website said there were no updates.
Although not today, since I’ve acquired my 19 I’ve added:
In channel ventvisors front and rear
Extang 2.0 trifold tonneau cover
Mopar gloss black step bars
Mopar all weather mats
Mopar bed rails
Modified mopar bed lights
AEM dryflow air filter
Ceramic coat
Doorsill paint protection film
Mopar...
It was a task but worth it in the end i think. I usually err to the more robust side of doing things. Do it once even if its overdone but you shouldn't have to touch it again.
I installed these last night on mine, No way could I get the nutserts to bulge out enough to grab into the bed. I also have a spray in liner ( factory ). It seems the liner makes it too think for the nutserts to grab onto. I sheared off a bolt trying to get it to seat. I also cleared up the...
