im really trying to just enjoy my new outrageous Rebel, absolutely gorgeous trucks, but the gas mileage is abysmal not even close to the laramie, if mpg is your major concern dont get a rebel.... im gonna need a 2nd mortgage when i start towing the boat and jet skis this summer. ! were talking...
Under the very slightest acceleration my rebel has no problem reading 9 mpg, on dead straight flat roads @ 55-60 it hits 15 mpg, @ 65-70 16mpg. this thing is 5mpg less than my 15 laramie 5.7.
go down to your local dealer and take a peek behind the rear wheel of a truck that doesnt have them and see how flimsy the sheet metal is under there , not to mention theres pinch welds right in there as well... definitely worth it, aftermarket plastic liners are about 1/2 the price as factory.
got them off e-bay took about 5 minutes and they look great,,, really makes the dash and tailgate emblems pop and match the red rebel in the gauge cluster nicely... highly recommend them for just a bit of subtle pop...
how much harder is it to change the filter on the 22 5.7 rebel then a 5.7 gen 4 laramie ? ton of snow / ice on the ground and i cant really crawl under there to find the filter. have 600 miles on it, anyone know the factory fill oil ? how soon can i switch to synthetic ?
well thats a bit of welcome news. I put the instant mpg and the avg in the lower left and right hand corner of the gauge cluster... @ 60 mph on dead flat rd its about 15-16 mph at 70-72 ish, its actually better, at 17... 55 mph on dead flat seems to lug and make the gas mileage even worse, it...
went from my 2015 5.7 laramie w/ 3.92 s that i purchased in ohio, got 21 mpg on the 500 mile ride home, and average about 20 hwy since. I averaged, 18 city / hwy and about 15 city. towing a 2 place jet ski trailer i avg. 15 mpg since 2015..... now onto my 2022 Rebel,,,,, I was expecting a...
just picked up my 2022 rebel on friday,,, configured pretty much as you describe, has ASG and I really like it a lot, didnt't think it would be as impressive as it is. definitely worth it for safety and peace of mind.
i tow different trailers and its great so far.
Its snowing here and i just havent had a nice flat concrete pad to measure the new Rebel,,,, from the looks of it its not as " Rakey " as my 15 laramie and doesnt seem *** end high at all. anybody measure their new rebel to see what the actual difference is on a non air ride 22 rebel ?
Thanks for the suggestions,,,, after a ton of research, I was actually leaning toward the hard fold w/ the soft touch, i think its between the tonno pro and the Lund..... tonno pro has composite panels and the Lund has aluminum... I am very picky about the " clean " corners that dont ride up and...
in everyones opinion which soft tri fold tonneau has the nicest material, nice flat corners and latches ?
looked at all the extang, gator, tonnopro, rough country, lund. I dont like the rear spring latches on the xtang covers, kind of like the adjustable cam kind. i really like the material on...
had a 09 1500 trx, 15 laramie, ended up going w/ the 22 Rebel, just wanted something different, already had a laramie for 6 years. I test drove 5th gen laramies and rebels and the laramie was very similar to my 2015, the rebel feels truckier and the ride is a bit more wallowy and there is a...
Hoping someone can help. 2022 Rebel, w/ 12" screen. set xm pr-sets and a couple fm pre-sets. if i shuffle through the xm pre-sets and hit one of my fm stations the XM freezes and no matter what i try XM is gone, hit the XM source and FM plays. Called uconnect and they told me to hold the power...
 LOL,,, call mark dodge d-bag, better yet, build the truck you want on ramtrucks save it as a pdf and email it to mark dodge for a price quote, if your tiny mind can handle that.... trust me i understand how much your butt hurts knowing you wasted 4k plus,,, id be pretty upset too if...
whatever, my new rebel is sitting in my driveway as we speak .... just brought her home today and saved 10k off msrp, i understand your butt hurts from not doing your due diligence and blew about 4,200 bucks that could have been spent on a nicer truck than what you probably ordered. i dont need...
