I used Color N Drive ceramic coating. It seems like it turned out ok. I didn't do a ton of paint prep other than wash and clay bar. It took almost all day. I don't notice much of a shine difference but the water beads up just like a fresh wax. The white color of the truck may also be helping...
The bed divider doesn't physically fit in a bed without the ramboxes so nobody will have that setup. The divider only comes with the BUG when the truck also has the ramboxes.
That's very strange. Before I wrote my post I checked the price of the BUG and mine still shows $495 with no divider. That site is all jacked up. I just took this screenshot right now
Yea you should be able to disable the braking part and keep the audible alarm. That's how I have mine set up. Sounds like you have a glitch in Uconnect.
There's been a lot of back and forth on this like you've seen. The divider should come with the ramboxes. On Ram's site, if you click on the info about the bed utility group, it doesn't list the divider. Also, the BUG is $445 which is about how much the divider would be alone. And think about it...

I used color n drive. It seemed to go on fine. Water seems to bead off just like a regular wax. Since my truck is white I don't notice a huge benefit in regards to shine. But what most people say on here is that...
This is my 3rd Ram, all with painted bumpers. (2 Longhorns & 1 Limited). The first one didn't have the PPF and like others have said, it looked like buckshot after a while. I did my 2nd longhorn in the first week and it was perfect. 80K miles and not a single chip. Same now on my Limited, put on...
On an iphone I know when you get in in that scenario, the screen pops up with choices of handset, speaker, or Uconnect. Sometimes it's automatic, sometimes I have to tell it to jump over to Uconnect.
yea that's it. Three loud beeps and red center cluster. It scares me when it goes off. I'll be watching traffic coming to a stop and i know I won't need to brake but it'll still go off sometimes.
Having had great results with my last XPEL truck I was torn about doing this new one because of the high cost. So as a compromise I did some of it myself. I just ordered the 10ft rolls of XPEL and covered the large areas of the front grill and bumpers in square and rectangular pieces. Everything...
Mine got hit in the same area affecting the same panels. Not nearly as bad but all the pieces needed to be fixed or replaced. It took about 35 days start to finish to get everything done and wait on parts. 3 weeks of it was waiting on the front grill. Good luck
