The programmer came with the sgw bypass cable. I used that and retrieved the pin and programmed the fob with the programmer. The star connector is simply a canbus connection point beyond the sgw. You could use that too and may be easier on some vehicles depending on where the sgw is, but since...
I also have the v6 and was looking into the rough country until I found out the preloaded struts wouldn’t work. I ended up doing the Motofab 3” front 2” rear. It clears my 35x12.50x20s with minor mods to the inner fender, no trimming, but I don’t feel my ride quality is as good as factory. If...
So my truck was a night edition with halogen lights to start. I found a set of non night edition led tail lights that had blind spot for really cheap so I bought them and installed them as well as added blind spot wiring. My question is has anyone painted the center section black to match the...
Funny that you say that because I went back to look for it on eBay and he is still selling the kit on there and that’s the sales code he has listed. Glad I bought the parts and Alfa. Alfa has been useful for so much more on this truck
There was a eBay seller that was selling oem door harnesses and handles with caps and said the dealer had to add a sales code “GXD” to get it to work. I did mine with Alfa, so I can’t verify that’s the case but before I found this site I was looking at that.
I did the Motofab 3” front/2” rear on my crew cab 6’4” bed and have no issues. It took a couple of tries to get the new tire size to program to be accurate and still keep the park sensors working, but all is good now.
I did the process I found on YouTube the first time I did it. I then read that on the 22 you didn’t have to do all the steps just the size change, so I’m not really sure that it is all needed or not
When I did mine for 35” tires I read that 2710 worked, but as soon as I did that the park sensors were disabled. I backed it down to 2700 and it worked. Seems like a lot of people have tried different numbers and get different results.
Tried the exoforma permashine on the tires. Pretty cool stuff. Dry to the touch, no greasy mess, no spatting, and they claim it lasts 6 months. Time will tell
TOPDON T-Ninja 1000 OBD Automotive Key Programmer. This is the one I have and can verify it does work.
VVDI MINI OBD Tool for Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max I’m told this will work with their app as a stand alone, but I don’t have any hands on experience with it so I can’t verify if it does or not
