Anyone have any thoughts as to why some ramboxes trucks move through the body vendor shop quickly and others stall? My truck has been there six days 9/6-9/12 while others have moved on in one day or so. I know this is less of a Problem then the one the folks whose trucks have yet to be built...
This may sound silly but the blurry spot looks somewhat like a finger print. Could you have a smudge on the camera lense? I know on my 2014 2500 I have to wipe the lense off periodically. All the other stuff is clearly not acceptable.
My truck was built today and is in I status! This was a 5/9/18 order with 6/3/18 modification for the trailer tow mirror delete. D1 status on 6/21/18. Still a ways to go but am very excited. Hope everyone else’s orders start to move soon as well.
I have been remiss in not using the order tracking on our site here. I went to D1 on 6/21 with an initial order date of 5/9/18 and modified 6/3/18 for the trailer tow mirror delete. If someone who has considerably more computer skills than I do can add me to the list that would be great. Also...
just saw your post. I am dealing with a dealer in castle rock co and I agree with you that we in Colorado are not seeing the types of deals that others are seeing elsewhere. I am at 7,700 off on an msrp of 67,800. As an aside, generally wings don’t advertise their position in their screen name...
Life is just better with ramboxes. We currently have them on our 2014 ram 2500 limited. Tow straps, rescue equipment, blankets, tool kit, med kit, tie down straps, traction ramps they all go in the ramboxes. No need to worry about where the stuff is because it’s always in the ramboxes.
I was truly hoping with various forum member ramboxes trucks being built and in at least two cases (I think) being shipped that my 5/9/18 ordered truck would be farther along than D1. No such luck and no other info from my dealer in Colorado other than our shared frustration. FCA has put their...
I have to say, am a BMW man. Over the past 20 years I have bought or leased 18 BMWs for my family or myself. They absolutely do it right. The ordering is easy, with the pick up you are made to feel far more important than you actually are (eurpean and Greenville delivery), and they deliver...
I will use the 1500 to haul our three horse trailer. Fully loaded with tack and horses it will be right around 8,000 pounds. I currently have a ram 2500 limited with the 6.4 hemi which hauls it great. It was a hard sell to convince my wife that the 1500 will be enough but with the 3.92 rear...
Towing the three horse trailer and bad weather vehicle. Really looking forward the the half ton versus my current three quarter ton for ride quality and full time all wheel drive versus four wheel drive.
So have any of you folks received “estimated ship dates” from the ram system that the dealer sends you as a status update? I previously received a printout from my dealer that said my truck will ship 7/8/18. Yesterday I received a printout that said a 7/13/18 ship date. On both they listed...
Spectacular, amazing and cool. I initially wanted to get the interior of your truck but my wife reminded me that tack (horse equipment) is generally dusty and a black interior will wear better. I don’t know whyI listened to her reasonable point as that interior is incredible. Well done and...
I have a 2014 ram 2500 limited to pull our three horse trailer. I am getting the 1500 with the 3.92 rear end because it will have plenty of towing capacity, better ride, full time all wheel drive and I am a sucker for new things.
Great point on the order date. They took my deposit on 4/19/18 and confirmed the order on 5/6/18. So probably did not order until the second date. I do not have my vin so I am not checking the status in real time. I will call my dealer tomorrow to check the build status. As an aside, the...
