That's exactly where my stress marks are on each side of the center window. What problems did you have with your Ford? I came really close to getting an F150 when I decided on the Rebel. So far this is my only problem with the truck.
I looked at mine a month or so ago and didn't notice anything so I thought I was in the clear. Looked again a couple days ago and noticed the plastic looked stressed on the top in a couple area. Put a light on it at an angle and you can see the crack. My build date is 5/2019. Probably wait...
I got mine for $115 on ebay. I didn't see it for sale for less anywhere that didn't seem sketchy but I also didn't look that hard. You guys have me convinced to just go ahead and install it this weekend. I really like how it looks on that Rebel!!
Has everyone that installed the Mopar bug shield happy with it still? I bought the flat black one because that's the only color I want but I really don't like the idea of how the clips go over the top of the hood. Seems like it could cause damage over time which would not leave you with the...
I just took a look at mine and they do seat all the way down. They have a couple lines in the design of the lug near that end. Is that what you are looking at? And I just checked my window sticker and I don't see them listed on there.
Glad you got it all fixed. Not 2 weeks after I bought my Rebel someone hit it in a parking lot and took off. Got a new upper and lower bumper out of it from State Farm. Prior to the Rebel I always had older vehicles and of course no one ever hit them.
That's encouraging that the install didn't take you that long. I looked over the install instructions and it didn't seen that complicated. I'm just worried about everything coming apart without me having to beat the hell out of it.
Welcome. I had actually found the exact F-150 I wanted on a local dealer lot and was negotiating with the dealer when I went and test drove the Rebel. Needless to say I didn't go back to the Ford dealer after that.
Doesn't look dirty underneath like it's been abused. Either way I haven't read much issues with these tranny's and from what I've read they are pretty solid so I'm curious as to what could cause this.
