I have used vinyl overlays which is similar to this. This is a thicker and more durable material.

Just to give an update on this setup: The dual battery and redarc install has been functioning for almost two years without any issues. I have used the second battery for my Blackvue Dashcam and for LedGlow under carriage lights.

Thanks for checking the AlphaOBD settings. I was hoping that this would be the solution. Perhaps it is but just need to have the full version or know the correct syntax to turn the Bluetooth off. Hopefully you can disconnect the antenna without breaking it. I will have to explore this option...

It probably just shuts the radio and screen off. :(

This allows you to tap a fuse to add a second circuit to wire a dashcam or DRL's to your truck.

I would really like to find a software solution so that if I need to use the BlueTooth I can just turn it back on.
