You are 100% correct and I 100% did everything in that order. They posted replies to my negative reviews and basically called me a liar saying I showed up with the problem a week after taking delivery. I'm sure this is what they told FCA. I have pictures and emails with time stamps that say...
I love the truck. Not so much the dealership. Since I leased and most like plan to buy i did woolwax and fluid film the whole thing because I live in rust country. I did not get etorque or the 12". The 8.4 is very nice
Using some textured abs plastic purchased from Amazon i made these. Not hard. Sanded the edge for a good transition and so the tonneau cover seals. This is about the cheapest solution I could come up with. There's about an 8mm overlap from the hole on all sides. Attached with a little right...
What has always worked for me in my shed and older vehicles that stayed outside was peppermint oil. Put about 6 cotton balls with a few drops on each in a sandwich baggie and stuff it in the corners. It repels mice, squirrels and chipmunks.
I would be vary careful around car washes. Not only do they accelerate removing your protective layer and dull the paint with micro scratches they usually recycle water. In the winter I doubt they are able to remove all the dissolved salt. Better off at the coin operated wand.
I'm sorry that happened. Scumbags are everywhere and more prevalent than ever these days. No one owns up to anything and lie constantly. I hope you nail the guy. He could kill someone one day especially driving a large truck like that.
I should really stop procrastinating and purchase a dash cam.
I hit all the online reviews. Dealer manager wrote some nasty reply stating that he was trying to help me out free of charge and FCA believed him over my story. Also that the scratch, dent and chip could have been a rock that got kicked up on my way home. Really? How could a rock come back and...
I actually went to armory after I med the initial deal at Pia because they had a delmonico red truck that I would rather have but couldn't match Pia's price. I should have paid the bit extra.
You don't want a "wax". A sealant is what you seek. I use blackfire sealant, machine apply. Seems to last a long time. Wolfgang sealant is another common favorite. Wipe on wipe off or wipe on walk away sealants are ok, but will degrade faster in general. Ceramic coatings are the new thing but...
These guys are the largest upstate NY RAM dealer and in the Albany area. I've always had good luck with their service dept. My first purchase (a used 2012 Liberty in 2014) the service dept notified me that the rear brakes were going to need to be fixed even though they felt fine to me and had...
Since I left the lot for almost two hours before discovery of the damage I don't think this gets me to 50%. At best I'm at 50/50.
In the end it would be nice for the dealer to repair their mistake to make good. The strict rules by the state of NY say they can get away with it once the...
You are exactly correct and the dealerships know that. My next vehicle purchase will be done in daylight and I will take pictures and inspect every panel carefully.
I will try and post a picture off my phone. After looking at reviews it does seem this dealer has plenty of complaints. Just curious why do you feel that people paying more than $50k for a vehicle should have to live with dealer induced scratches and dings? That's insane. I don't care about...
