    Snow removal

I live in this damned state also, I have seen people ticketed for the offense. And I was glad to see it happen. Damned fools scrape a 3" hole in the center and drive off at 45-50 with snow blowing every which way and they can't see a damned thing and don't care about other drivers.

    Snow removal

Are you suggesting driving your vehicle with snow on it and letting it blow off?? That is a poor idea which can create difficulties for other drivers, besides which it is also illegal. On January 9, 2013, the NYS Senate amended a 2008 vehicle and traffic law requiring certain motor vehicles to...

    Jump Start Pacs

The little Lithium ones seem to work most of the time or at least help. I have one and have used it on the little lawn tractor and it worked, tried it on a 15 eco-diesel and it didn't work. I also have one of the larger lead acid battery type and it got the eco-diesel started. They both can...

Winter tire swap TPMS is now malfunctioning?

That part number #68324960AB looks to be for the "classic" or 4th gen trucks. This #68293199AA looks to be the number for the 5th's, which is what I installed in my snow tire rims.

Then I got a set of takeoffs for my brother some Goodyear AT's...

No CD player in my 2020 1500

My 19 Laramie also has a single disc CD player in it, it is very difficult to access as it is in the lower section of the front middle seat. Yep, I have a Laramie with a bench seat:cool:

    Winter tire help

My Laramie came with the 18's and I got a second set for snow tires. Found mine on Craigs list for $400 for the set, when I was looking for tires I was looking at 255/70r18, 265/70r18 or my stock size of 275/65r18. I ended up with a set of 265/70r18 LT's as I found a used set with 60% tread and...

    Anti-Spin Diff vs. E-Locker

My oh my, what a thread so much misinformation along with a bit of good info. One thing not discussed enough is that with the e-locker (my choice also) when it is engaged your truck will not want to turn, gravel roads, driveways it's quite noticeable. The slippery the more noticeable that your...

Engine, rear gear, type of differential

The above mentioned gear calculator has no mention of overdrive, it is assuming a 1:1 high gear ratio we are so far past that those gear ratios have no meaning. With 6th gear being the 1:1 ratio and 7th and 8th being overdrives.

Why is the crew cab with the 6.4 bed not a popular option?

I like my little long bed, I say little in comparison to my old F350 CC with the eight foot box. I had a shortbox and just didnt care for it.

best all terrain tires for stock 2020 ram?

Why all the fanfare for these overly wide tires for highway travel, especially in the winter with snow or even worse slush to contend with. I've always gone with the narrower taller tire choice for every thing except sand driving. The OP has 275/55R20's that is about 31.9 inches tall, the same...

Tire Pressure question for 20 inch tires

Interesting question it seems to come up often in various forms; here is an answer I found, OEM Size (LT275/65R18 C) Load Capacity: 2054 lbs. @ 38 psi. New Size (275/55R20 SL) Load Capacity: 2061 lbs. @ 28 psi. There is a website that I visit often when I'm researching tire questions...

    Too much black?

Well in my opinion thats a good thing I have gotten to were I dislike intensely these all black trucks and black interiors. I had to look all over for a truck with a light colored interior and it came with the Patriot Blue exterior. My previous truck was the Granite and it was a good looking...

Do 18's fit? Wheel and Tire recs for my 2021 1500?

I'm putting LT265/70R18's (32.6 inch) on stock rims for my snow tires, my summers are the stock Falken LT275/65R18C's (32.1 inch). Just visually I would say that you might get away with 33's but I wouldn't be surprised if 34's rubbed. My truck is a 19 Laramie with the air ride. The rears have...
