Ha! What a co-incidence. Seating the filter housing seems to be the issue. I removed the housing and re-seated it, and the problem disappeared. It's a good idea to do this maintenance work a week or so before traveling to work out any bugs that develop. I did mine before Christmas to avoid...
I appreciate the replies thus far.
I intend to have it dealer serviced annually. I was a bit skeptical about the early notice only 4 months into ownership.
Hi. I purchased a 22 Limited EcoDiesel and took delivery Labor Day of 2022, so I've had the truck for almost 4 months. Mileage is around 2350, and I did an oil and oil filter change at around 2250 miles. I coincidentally recently received a post card from the dealership which indicated...

I appreciate the insight Aseras has provided.
I had some errands to do this morning and so was able to get the operating temperatures up. Oil temp was 208 degrees and the pressure reading was 20 psi (pic attached). Also included in the pic is the oil pressure scale (lower left corner), and the...
So what is the cause of the low oil pressure? I removed the filter housing and re-installed it. Let it run a few minutes and there was no indicator light. That was around 2 pm or so.
I returned to this thread tonight at 7:30 pm to find subsequent posts. I started the engine and went into the...
I changed the oil and oil filter yesterday, first change at 2300 miles. I filled with 8.5 quarts and replaced the OEM drain plug with the ValvoMax oil drain valve. Ran the engine for a few minutes after completion, and checked the dipstick. The level was in the middle of the cross-hatch...
I just installed 20” wheels with Blizzaks for winter season, coming from the 22” factory wheels on my 2022 Limited. The 20s clear the brake calipers, but not much excess space.
Will 18” wheels clear the front brake calipers on the 2022 Limited?
I found this thread today, so I hope it is still active. I'm approaching 2500 miles in my 2022 Limited 1500, and want to change the factory fill oil. Looking at the Amsoil website, the data for 5w-40 EFM is the following. Chrysler is not included in that viscosity. Am I missing something...
I did some additional reading after my initial post. Seems as if n8zcc is correct: the issue is with business-dependent fuel, and personal consumption should not be affected by supply, but rather by price. I had considered acquiring 5-gallon containers, but also realized how much a PITA that...
anyone concerned about a potential shortage? would it be wise to keep fuel on hand for personal commuting? I own other cars that run on gasoline, but I’d rather drive my Ram.
Had ceramic coat applied professionally. I don’t have the time to do this correctly. Looks too good to drive. As my buddy stated: "It’s positively maddening!!"
