Trucktrend recently compared headlights in the pickupt truck of the year competittion. http://www.trucktrend.com/truck-of-the-year/1810-headlights-of-the-2019-pickup-truck-of-the-year-competition-ptoty19/ They specifically mention Ford and GMC as having bad glare, and that the Ram limiteds were...

    Limited vs Rebel 12 interior

Also no reclining rear seats, from my understanding. And yes on the leather. I believe the Rebel is vinyl/cloth seats, and probably a little more durable materials on the door panels, console, dash etc so less real leather. Really wish they would give us the Laramie seat options (black...

Got rear ended - Bumper and Exhaust Casualties

I would question the strength of the rear bumper, considering how much it got bent compared to practically no damage to the police car. The exhaust did appear to take the brunt of it.

Got rear ended - Bumper and Exhaust Casualties

It could also be by design. Rather snap the cheapo hanger, than have it hold secure then mess up a more expensive exhaust component.

My 2019 Ram Nightmare is Finally Over

Sorry for how all this went. Glad it work out it the end. So you got to keep the truck? Seeing as how you hate it so much and don't trust it, I'll take it off your hands for you.

Don't see many crewcab with 6'4" bed

My dad only buys 8' bed trucks for the farm. Thinks its a must have. I don't agree. I was really wanting to get a 6'4" bed, and was really concerned that a 5'7" bed with ramboxes would be too short after owning my 3rd gen (6'3" i think?) Anyway, i can say after getting the 5'7" bed that it...

2019 Ram HD sheds some camo

That is a very attractive front. I actually like it much more than i did the 1500.

    RAM Rebel vs TRD Tundra

Seems like the Toyota was picked just because it surprised him more, and road softer than the Rebel at the full height air setting. Difficult to argue that the vehicle with higher clearances, better skid plate protection, better tires, and a selectable locker isn't a better off road vehicle...

Got bored, added some oh ****/grab handles

That was a really good idea. I could see some red ones in a Rebel or upcoming TRX from the factory. Also another place to hook anything too.

    The Hellephant

Aaaand i cant believe i didn't see "Hellephant" coming. I in no way expected this to be a supercharged 426. Great job FCA keeping it under wraps, and a fitting way to bring the elephant back.

    The Hellephant

Ok so correct me if I'm wrong. This block was reportedly designed with street use in mind. Some of the other components, are shared with the Hellcat and demon (save the forged or specially components required to sustain 1000hp). Either the hellcat or demon share a block with i think the NA SRT...

So far disappointed with 5.7 etorque mileage, but how much does it really cost???

I wish that were true, but 16-17-18 is where the bell curve on the 5.7 etorque is going to land. 2014-2018 Ram 5.7 averages about 15.5 real world hand calculated (mine is currently 14.8). IF etorque is a 10% improvement, that's 17. But not everyone will get 17. Depending on location, driving...

So far disappointed with 5.7 etorque mileage, but how much does it really cost???

If $340 over an entire year is that big of a deal to you, go back to the 2.7 ecoboost or option the 3.6 pentastar. Both have less horsepower, less tow capacity, and sound like lawn mowers. They also typically have lower resale value then their higher power, more premium engine siblings. If...

North Edition arriving just in time for winter.

Who says they aren't working on those things? This looks like a nice package. It doesn't add anything to the parts bin that isn't already there. Just a slightly different combination of them.

Awesome towing review between RAM, FORD, and CHEVY

Its a "powerstroke" with an emphasis on the quotation marks IMO. Mildly updated version of what they've already been offering in Land Rover. The lion i think it was called? They branded it powerstroke to help sell it and make a connection with its big brother in the HDs. And yes, for this...
