What color interior do you have? If you have black interior I’d say tan could look good but it might clash with gray seats. Black would match your plastic trim.
I was torn between gray or black and chose black in the event I wanted to sell it. I love my softopper and will not be selling it.
I used my Tazer to reset tire size and to turn on fog lights with high beams. Every “mod” I make to my truck is for functionality and longevity. It is a very well-loved truck.
I removed/unmarried my Tazer and pedal commander and the truck still has the issue that was present before I installed...
I finally got a hold of my case manager at ram. Pathetic situation.
She confirmed that the corporate tech who inspected my truck said that my “tune“ was the cause of the problem and that I can no longer make claims for my transmission clunk. Nothing else is affected.
I responded by asking for...
The gist is I could have possibly avoided this hassle by not leaving my Tazer plugged in. I’ve left it in before at dealer visits and never had issues. I don’t use the Tazer live features and only really bought it for tire size recalibration and turning on fog lights with high beams. For me it...
Original owner. They are still going to repair my navigation unit that is on back order. Go figure.
This truck has been an absolute lemon. First new truck I’ve ever bought. This is just the last straw that is pushing me to move on. Too bad since I don’t like the other trucks on the market.
Locked VIN means no more warranty.
No. They said the ecu showed it was ping-ed from some tuner and that the security gateway module had been bypassed.
I never took it out before and never had issues.
They are telling me that I need a new valve body on my second transmission. 3rd valve body.
I just got a call from the service advisor that said my truck now has a locked VIN due to my Tazer DT.
Anyone else have this problem? In now have a broken truck and no warranty. Not pleased.
So the SA called and said that they put the truck on the alignment lift and cycled the truck suspension to isolate the clunking problem. It didn’t do the clunk in neutral or park but in drive only. Through that they are eliminating the driveshaft being the source of the sound. They did say that...
I agree. I’m sure a Cadillac dealer wouldn’t put an Escalade owner in a Chevy Aveo. I don’t even get a loaner anymore. The dealership makes more money selling the loaner cars than taking care of clients.
Did you start a case with ram cares? Lemon laws and building a case depends on down time of...
Well, my truck has been at the dealer for a few days now for a new GPS/radio unit (a few weeks out on parts) and also the continued clunking in the driveline. At first the dealership couldn't replicate the issue and told me that is just typical driveline "snap". I drove it with the SA in the...
I too only tow on an infrequent basis. 4 times a year. I didn‘t notice my crack developing immediately after a long hard tow. But it has to be thermal. The coloring
my parts seemed to indicate the manifold at the center two cylinders was cooking.
My commute is about 30min one way mostly...
No real difference in the cab. I love the sound of the hemi but I appreciate how quiet these trucks are on the road. I haven't towed with it since the swap but I don’t anticipate any noticeable change from before, this is not as dramatic as swapping out the muffler or intake. I have a trip...
Funny thing is I wasn’t driving like a youth. Speed limit is 25mph. That’s what’s odd. I hardly had sand in the fender liners. My truck has been dirtier from forest service roads and not had this issue, it’s only when I’m on the beach. Oh well.
I’ve got a trip planned in July. We’ll see if we...
I love getting out on the sand/beach, this beach you visited looks like a fun place for the family. Thanks for sharing the photos.
Has anyone had issue with their blind spot system showing error messages when on the beach? When I drive on the beach, only then, my rear blind spot monitors wig out...
My truck thinks its in the pacific ocean. I disconnected the satellite radio antenna but that should not have affected GPS.
my service advisor doesnt even return calls anymore. Funny considering how much money the dealer makes off my truck.
Adarac offers a slightly taller upright that may give the clearance you need but I can't confirm that would solve the problem.
For the Adarac Pro system(aluminum) the bottom stringer/baseplate is an extruded piece that has a channel that holds the nuts that the uprights bolt to at the base...
