If you hear a winding noise, maybe your starter motor is just spinning and not engaging the flywheel. Check the starter motor.

You need a new radio module to accommodate the big screen. You need to re pin the power connector and replace the LVDS cable. Then reprogram with AlfaOBD or J-Scan.

I have disconnected the plug many times, did what I had to do and reconnected the plug. Never got any error codes from it by disconnecting the plug. Something's not right there.

You cannot keep your 8.4 radio module for the 12.1 screen. You need the 12.1 radio module, 68317978ai, re-pin the connector or get the adapter harness from @Jimmy07 and a new LVDS cable for the screen.

Did you change all the settings in AlfaOBD to tell the BCM that you have LED's installed. There are about 8 or 10 settings you need to change. Just search LED in alfaOBD and change all settings to yes.

You have to remove the center console, then you can the remover the little cubby insert and replace it with the CD player. 4 bolts in all. Wiring should be there, but I'm not sure. If they not there, there is an install kit available for adding the player. Also, you will need to program you BCM...
