Love the 12". Almost 3 years and no problems. I agree with some of the comments above that the myth that there are no physical controls seems to live on. Maybe its the fact that many of the buttons blend in with the bezel. Another thing to consider is in five years the 8.4" is going to look...
I like it and use it but i don't understand why they made the image so small. I have the 12" screen and the surround view image is maybe a quarter of the screen. It would be much more useful if the image was larger.
Something doesn't seem right. Mine has no rust in those places after 2 1/2 years. I bet either your truck had/has a leak or it was in a flood. Look at the rear window surround for cracks and the headliner in the rear for stains.
Buy or lease can be a fleece if you don't understand the numbers. Depending on incentives leasing can be the better deal many times. Should alway look at it both ways before pulling the trigger.
I like the truck but these things could be better
1. White Frost color match is bad.
2. The app never worked for me. It could locate the truck but that's it.
3. Back doors sound cheap when closing them, fronts close nice and solid.
4. Loud clank at start up, been releasing the brake pedal to...
So having the mirrors lower somehow increases side and rear visibility? Doesn't seem to make sense but I'll take your word for it since i have not owned a ford.
You say in your first post that the damage has occurred over the last couple of months of your ownership. Now you are saying you bought it this way. What does mansplain mean? Is that a South Dakota thing?
Just looks like you are sliding off the seats and ruining the edge. Use the A pillar grab handle to lift yourself out of the seat. It also helps a lot to have the fixed running boards, the power ones open too low. I have 20k on my Laramie, only wiped them down once with a damp cloth and have...
I lease so first one about 9500 miles when monitor was down under 5%. Had the second one at 19000 or so. If i owned i would do 1000, 5000 then every 10000.
I use a damp rag and my tan color seats in my Laramie still look new after 20k miles. No color transfer, no abnormal wear, no stains. This leather is painted and clear coated. If you drip water on it the water just beads up. You just need to wipe the dirt off and you are good to go. The...
I never got my to work. The app can find the truck on the map but that was it. So obviously i didn't renew. I had a 15 Sierra, the app worked great, very fast and was free for 5 years.
For me the app never worked, it could locate the truck but that was it. The voice commands are the worst and usally it tries to call a contact instead of entering an address or changing the sirius channel. Trying to get an address in the Nav is hit or miss. Sometime its quick and sometime it...
I would definatly go at least 12k per year, the difference is minimal. Also, go 36 month so you are under warrenty the entire time. Nothing worse then paying to fix a rental. I'm not sure if your deal is good, i leased mine in July of 18 so i don't know whats considered good today. I'm...
