A friend of mine fabricated a strap and welded it in. He is doing one for another member as well. I give his contact out. You aren’t that far away, maybe 1-1/2 hrs. He could install the strap for you as well. He lives near Monroe. Give him a call. Bobby Williams. (734) 755-7063. Let me...
I had a friend of mine custom fabricate a mount to utilize the stock third strap. We installed this after the tank was installed, but would be much easier to do without the tank in place. He is currently making one for another member of the forum. I have provided his info to several members...
With the bigger tank there is a pretty long part of it that it totally unsupported. I did drive it a few months like that but did not fill completely while I figured out how to resolve it. It may be all as is, but for a reasonable price I like the piece of mind of having it.
Unless you can get the parts for free, I don’t think it would be worth the effort to install the 26 gallon tank. The 33 is a huge difference from the 23 and worth it, especially if you ever tow.

I created this thread when I got mine. Rebel is the same as the off-road package. Check it out. It should answer your questions.

Nice. I’ve always wanted to do that but concerned about dirt, oil and grease if a haul something in the bed. I know they say washable. Have you had any issues keeping it looking good.
You would have to talk to Readylift to confirm but I believe they are the same. If you get the kit with just the top hat and control arms, you may want to add a 1” spacer to the rear. You can determine exactly how much once the front is done.
Not that I agree with trying to destroy a 90k truck, but it is his truck. He can do what he pleases with it including jumping streams. This is another example of big government destroying peoples freedom. Meanwhile, actual criminals are being let go or ignored completely, and in some cases...
