As I understand it, which isn't saying much, I think it's like when your computer glitches and you reboot it to "reset" it. The Alpha reset is much the same. If the process you are trying won't "start" or whatever, a "Reset" may be in order. Hopefully, Jimmy or someone can confirm this or...

Jimmy, Thanks for the info. I use the OBDLink MX+ and I cannot connect using my Android Galaxy S24 Ultra to any module that has the Blue adapter message. I also have the Windows program and the EX. I'll try that next time. Cheers, thanks for your expertise on these forums, much appreciated

The adapter listed in the first picture on post #476, Don't know if anyone has connected to it via Alpha (or any other device).

That narrows it down to you have to use the prescribed adapter

Or, maybe Alpha hasn't certified the 2024 requirements yet A call or email to Alpha would answer it all.

Your first picture says you need an MS-CAN BLUE adapter. Could that be the problem? I've encountered that with other modules and was denied access because I don't have that adapter.

Mine is used the same way. So basic, I don't understand the misunderstanding.

Your signature doesn't show what engine you have. If it's a gasser you won't have an AGM

That's because you have a gasser

The info is not on top of the battery, it is on the label on the side of the battery. AGM batteries do not have raised vent caps. Strange that a part number lookup doesn't describe the battery

1 - You have an AGM battery, probably a 850 CC Amp size 2 - 1 amp is too small 3 - direct to battey + & - 4 - Get a maintainer for the battery size
